概要

レア社が開発した対戦型格闘ゲーム。CGプリレンダを使用したグラフィックが特徴。
『モータルコンバット』を意識した作りとなっており、フェイタリティもちゃんと導入されている。
SNES(海外版スーファミ)とゲームボーイ版は任天堂からの発売となっているが、日本では未発売。
2013年にXbox1でマイクロソフトからリメイク版がリリースされ、こちらは翌年日本でも発売された。

音楽はロビン・ビーンランド氏とグレイム・ノルゲート氏が制作。両氏ともこの作品が初担当となる。
BandcampにてSNES版とゲームボーイ版のサントラが任意価格で購入できる。
