Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

This “Minecraft Military Club @wiki” (hereinafter referred to as "the Wiki") is established as a community platform that encourages creative activities under the name of the “Minecraft Military Club” across all Minecraft platforms and editions. It aims to facilitate exchange and interaction among users.

The Management Group shall act in the best interest of the Wiki’s development and users' creative efforts. Their responsibilities include administration of @wiki, the Discord server, and arbitration when necessary.

All users of the Wiki must comply with decisions made by the Management Group, provided such decisions do not conflict with the terms outlined herein.

2. Individual Pages

Pages for countries, organisations, or wars should, in principle, be contained within a single page.

If this is technically unfeasible due to content volume or system limitations, users may request permission from the Management Group to create multiple pages.

To delete unnecessary images or files, a request must also be submitted to the Management Group.

Apart from comment submissions and voting through @wiki plugins, no user may edit another user's page without permission.

The Management Group may edit or delete any page under the following conditions:

The content violates these terms of use.

The content is involved in public announcements or removals.

A deletion request for images or other files has been submitted.

Pages intended to be edited and shared by all users, such as for sharing useful information relevant to military-themed activities, may be freely created, provided the page name and purpose are reported to the Management Group.

3.Nation/Claim Applications

To create a new page for use on the Wiki, users must first read the following:

This full set of Terms of Use.

The page titled “How to Create Your Own Page on the Wiki.”

Territorial claims may be freely made, regardless of whether the entity is a nation or a business. However, users must thoroughly read the “World Map Usage Guidelines.”

4. Organisations and Alliances

The creation or withdrawal from organisations and alliances (hereinafter “organisations”) is entirely up to each user.

The authority of an organisation becomes effective once a dedicated page is created for it.

The representative of the organisation must:

Add the organisation to the “List of Organisations” upon establishment.

Move it to the “Disbanded Organisations” section when the organisation is dissolved.

Organisations that show no sign of activity for over one year will be considered dissolved.

An organisation may expel a member with the approval of all remaining participants and consent from the Management Group if the member:

Hinders the organisation’s activities or planning.

Has been out of contact for more than one month, disrupting participation.

All members of an organisation must clearly state their membership on their personal pages.

5. Events and Scenarios

In this Wiki, all roleplay-style activities such as declarations of war or joint military exercises are collectively referred to as “scenarios” or “events”.

Users are free to initiate scenarios via the Wiki, provided they have carefully read both:

“About Events and Scenarios”

“Rules for Scenarios (Roleplay)”

Scenarios are valid only when all involved parties agree.
Even when a participant exercises their right to veto (refusal), no penalties of any kind may be imposed.

The Management Group must not interfere with the contents of any scenario, unless they violate the terms of use. In such cases, the Group may take appropriate actions, including cancellation.

To recruit participants, users may create new pages separate from personal pages. However, after the event ends, the page must either be deleted or clearly marked as closed.

Excessive military or political activity that could seriously disrupt the execution of a scenario is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

All acts that violate these terms are strictly prohibited.

The following are expressly forbidden:

Obstruction of the management or operation of the Wiki.

Slander, defamation, or harmful acts against people or entities associated with the Wiki.

Actions that significantly damage the reputation of the Wiki.

Use of creative works that gravely infringe upon the dignity or copyrights of others.

Use of any content (text, images, etc.) from within the Wiki without permission from the author, regardless of whether used inside or outside the Wiki. For shared content such as Terms of Use or shared pages, the Management Group may grant usage rights.

Using externally distributed military assets (e.g. weapons, vehicles) with little or no modification and without the creator’s permission.

Republishing data received from others within the setting of the Wiki to external sites without the creator's permission.

Tampering with or obstructing any voting mechanism on the Wiki, including @wiki plugins, or imposing penalties/rewards based on vote results.

It is also prohibited to recruit members for external communities within the Wiki or in areas managed by the Management Group without prior permission, regardless of relevance to the Military Club.

However, this clause does not apply outside the scope of the Wiki and its managed spaces. Recruitment on other platforms is not restricted, unless it violates Clause 6–8.

All actions in violation of Japanese law, including the Penal and Civil Codes, are strictly forbidden.

Note: Fictional political settings, including speculative or fantasy governments on individual pages, are not subject to political restrictions.

All the above prohibitions apply not only within the Wiki, but also to any publicly viewable online spaces (e.g. SNS).

Violations may be discovered by:

The Management Group

Reports by involved users

Third-party users

7. Conflict Resolution Process

In the event of a dispute (hereinafter “conflict”) between users, all involved parties are expected to make every effort to resolve the issue through cooperation and dialogue.

If resolution proves difficult through mutual discussion, the Management Group may intervene and mediate.

The Management Group shall act fairly and objectively, listening to both parties and proposing a suitable solution.

To preserve the healthy operation of the Wiki, the Management Group may, as a last resort, impose penalties based on Section 7 of this regulation.

The conflict resolution process must be carried out with the consent and respect of all involved parties.

8. Penalties

If a user violates the Terms of Use, the Management Group may impose the following penalties:

A formal warning

Prompt correction or deletion of the violating content

Explanation of the violation and submission of an improvement plan

Temporary or permanent suspension of speaking or viewing rights on the Discord server

Temporary or permanent disqualification from applying to the Management Group or related bodies

Suspension of voting rights related to Section 8-4, temporarily or permanently

Temporary or permanent suspension from participating in roleplay (scenarios)

Temporary or permanent ban from engaging in scenario activities

Temporary or permanent ban from accessing some or all areas managed by the Management Group

IP bans through @wiki functions

Restriction of comment permissions via @wiki functions

Deletion of pages

Deletion of user accounts

If any regulation is revised and an existing action becomes a violation, the user must take immediate corrective action.

Even minor violations may result in harsher penalties if repeated.

If an urgent violation is ongoing (e.g., trolling or fighting) and escalation is likely, any member of the Management Group may impose a temporary penalty without waiting for consensus.
However:

Irreversible penalties (e.g., account deletion) may not be imposed.

Such temporary measures must not exceed 72 hours in duration.

If a user disagrees with a penalty imposed by a body equivalent to the Management Group, they may request a retrial by the Management Group.
The result of this retrial shall carry the same authority as any other Management Group penalty.

9. The Management Group

The Wiki shall be managed by a group of 4 to 6 users.
All decisions must be made by unanimous consent of the members.

Each member’s term of office shall be no shorter than 3 months and no longer than 1 year.
If a vacancy occurs due to term expiration, a new member shall be elected or reappointed through user candidacy and voting.

Voting shall be conducted in accordance with Section 9–4.

If the number of candidates exceeds the available positions, those with the most votes will be elected, up to the limit.

If re-election causes a delay, the existing Management Group must extend their term and continue to operate until a new group is elected.

If new members are needed during a term, the Group must prioritise a call for candidates.
The same conditions apply as for regular elections (Section 9–2–2).

For major decisions (e.g., rule amendments, elections), the Management Group must hold a vote among all users of the Wiki and affiliated platforms.

Votes must include three options: “In Favour”, “Opposed”, and “Abstain”.
Abstentions and invalid votes are grouped together. The proposal is accepted only if the number of favourable votes exceeds the combined total of the other two.

Voting notices must be issued at least 72 hours before voting begins, and voting must be open for at least 48 hours.

In urgent cases, post-approval voting may be permitted.

Any user may demand dismissal of part or all of the Management Group if approved by at least one current member and in accordance with Section 9–4.

If such a dismissal is successful, the affected members shall immediately lose their positions.
If the entire group is dismissed, they must immediately cease operations, and a new election shall be held in accordance with Sections 9–2–3 and 9–4.
Dismissed members may stand as candidates again.

The Management Group may form and declare bodies equivalent to the Management Group.

These bodies shall be staffed by members nominated through election.

10. Provisions on These Terms

All users are deemed to have accepted these Terms of Use by participating in the Wiki.

In case of any conflict between these Terms and other supplementary regulations, these Terms shall take precedence unless otherwise stated.

Any user may demand a specific amendment to the Terms if approved by at least one member of the Management Group, following the voting process defined in Section 9–4.

If the amendment proposal passes, the Management Group must implement the revised regulation.
Minor changes in tone or formatting may be made to maintain consistency with existing text.

These Terms replace all previous terms as of 4 April 2023.
