CONCRETE JUNGLE

～Jacobに呼ばれて訪れたNiko～

Little Jacob(以下LJ) : Yo... Who dat ah ring me bell, star? Who dat?

• おい…。誰か来たのか？誰だよ？

Niko : It's Nico.

• Nikoだ。

LJ : Niko...yeah,me bleach hard last night,ya know?　Me soon come yo,just hold on.

• Niko…。あぁ、昨日一晩中パーティーしてたな。すぐ行くよ、ちょっと待ってな。

Niko : What?

• 何て？（声がラリってて聞き取りづらい）

LJ : wha'happen,Niko?

• どうしたんだ、Niko？

Niko : hey.

• やぁ。

LJ : Glad ge see de man,ya know.　Wha'happen to my man Roman?

• 会えて嬉しいぜ。Romanの方はどんな感じだい？

Niko : Roman?

• Roman？

LJ : Yeah.

• あぁ。

Niko : He's okay.

• 奴なら大丈夫さ。

LJ : Yeah?

• 本当に？

Niko : He's still waiting for his big break.

• 奴は当分、休暇中ってとこだな。

LJ : Big break? Cho,a promise is a comfort fe a fool ya know, Niko. The boy have fe creep before him can walk ya know.

• 休暇だ？そんならあのろくでなしの見舞いに早く行ってやんねーとな。あいつは歩けるようになる前に、這ってでも進むような奴だからな、そうだろ？

Niko? : Yeah...

• まぁな…。

LJ : Anyway,let's go for a licle drive.Come.

• とりあえず、行くか。来いよ。

LJ : yo,me have a deal fe make ya know.We have fe go ah Saratoga Avenue in willis.Ya mind taking dis wheel? This herb don't do too well for my hand an'my eye co-ordination.

• なぁ、取引が一つあって、WillisのSaratoga Aveまで行かないといけないだ。そこまで車回してくれるか？
  これ（現在お試し中の葉っぱ）じゃあ、あんまりキマんねぇな。

～車内でのNikoとJacobの会話～

LJ : Ya sure ya don't want some?

• お前も一発キメっか？

Niko : I'm sure.

• 結構だ。

LJ : You mind I keep the windows closed, keep the ganja inna the car,hot box, seen?

• 窓締め切って車ん中でヤるなってか？違うか？

Niko : So, what's the deal?

• それで、取引って何だ？

LJ : I'm a buying some kail off of a new source,ya know? Don't know if it's all this herb, but, I major paranoid. I don't trust dem.

• 新しい仕入先からブツを買うんだけどよ。でも全部がこれ（今吸ってる葉っぱのこと）かどうかは分からないんだ。
  なんせ俺は被害妄想とは無縁な人間だからよ、奴らを信用していないってわけ。

Niko：Who arranged this deal?

• 取引の相手ってどんな連中なんだ？

LJ : Some harbor shark and his crew.Badman know dem a long time, but tink dey feisty. And if this goes wrong, I don't know what kinda shit Badman gonna lay upon their door, ya know?

• Badmanがよく知ってるんだけどな、どこぞの港を根城にしてる奴等さ。
  でも生意気な連中でな、取り引きが上手くいかなかったら、Badmanがどうなっちまうか分かったもんじゃない。

Niko : You think this is a set up?

• 取り引きは成立するのかい？

LJ : I don't know, I been smoking herd,you know? It fucks wit me brain a littel, makes me think all type a'shit. A dread who don't trust himselfe can' trust on one else,seen? Ya can't shake no hands when your fist be clenched. Ya hear me,breda?

• 分かんねぇよ、今はこれ（葉っぱ）をやるぐらいしかねぇ。
  色んな事を考えちまう俺様の脳みそを、どうにかしたいぐらいでよ。自分を信じらんねぇ奴は、周りも信じられないもんさ、だろ？拳を作ってるときに握手はできない、分かるか？兄弟。

Niko : Sure.I hear you.

• あぁ…。分かってるさ。

～取り引き場所に到着、Nikoは車で待機、ヤコフから電話～

LJ : Go round da back in case one a dem tyr get jumpy and run off wi the ganja. Keep hold of dis vehicle, we might fe get out of here quick

• 奴らがブツを持って逃げ出した時の事も考えて、裏口に回ってくれ。
  車はちゃんと置いておけ。とっととずらからなくちゃならんからな。

LJ : Cha! Dey didn't have no stuff and tried to take me coil. I till got it though.Finish dem if dem try come out de back. I got the front covered

• 何てこった！あいつら、ブツなんざ何も持ってきてないし、金だけ俺から巻き上げる気だよ。
  だけど、俺の方はまだ大丈夫だ。正面は俺に任せて、奴等が裏口から逃げ出したら殺ってくれ。

～売人を全員倒した後、Jacobとの車中の会話～

Niko : I got them.

• 何とかなったな。

LJ : Ya a real badman ya know Niko. Respect.Forward a Aavannah Avenue inna Meadows Park. Ya a bad boy, Niko. I don't know what I'd be doing without ya, ya know.

• Niko、あんた相当なワルだな。尊敬するぜ。Meadows ParkのAavannahまで行ってくれよ。
  なぁNikoよ、あんたが居なかったら、今頃俺がどうなっていた事か。

LJ : Badman say I gots to get de blood clot who set I up.

• Badmanが、自分をハメた連中を殺ってくれって言ってんだよ。

Niko : Alright.

• 分かった。

LJ : Drive while black up some more ya know, breda.

• もう一発キメるとするか。運転を頼むぜ、兄弟。

LJ : The ras clot tinks he can cold up Badman. He a fool... he's a dead fool... De boy's is no match for I and I.He's nuttin!

• Badmanに恥をかかせなきゃ気がすまないラスタな連中でな。あいつは、馬鹿で馬鹿で…、仕方がない奴等さ･･･。
  まぁ、俺達に太刀打ち出来るような、大した相手じゃないさ。どうって事ねぇよ！

LJ : Here we be. Are ya wit me,breda?

• ここだ、兄弟。一緒に来てくれよ。

Niko : yes.

• あぁ。

LJ : We ah put some rude boys inna ground

• 中には何人か居るみたいだな。

LJ : Ya a crucial brother, Niko. Cover I.

• 頼りにしてるぜ、Niko。俺を援護してくれ。

LJ : Alright ya ready? We gonna set dis place fire blood clot!

• よし、準備は良いか？ここを火の海にしてやるぜ！

LJ : Me can't get no shot pon da boy.

• 俺からだと、あの野郎には武器が届かねぇな。

LJ : Check de window.Ya see him up there?

• そこに窓があるだろ。そこから中を確認出来るか？

LJ : Wicked,ya see it?I an'Iget dem all

• やったな、全員片付けただろ。

LJ : Yo, mek we break outta here. I tink some more soon turn up.

• よし、とっととここからずらかろうぜ。すぐに仲間が応援に来るかもしれない。

Feel I teeth, batty boys.

• 弾薬の臭いがする。

you mascots ain't nuttin'.

Ya bumba clots ain't no match for Jacob!

I an' I outta Dungle,I and I is a shotta.

Die you craven ras clot.

～帰りの車中、NikoとJacobの会話～

LJ : Cha,dey too late to stop I and I.Bring us back to the cafe and ting

• ふん、今さら応援が来たって、遅すぎるぜ。とっととカフェに戻るとするか。

LJ : Real Badman gonna be happy wit dis and ting,Jah know. Tank you me breda.

• Badmanもこれで喜ぶぜ。ありがとよ、兄弟。

Niko : Don's mention it. It was a pleasure.

• どういたしまして。気にすんなよ。

LJ : I look out for Badman like how you look out for Roman.

• あんたがRomanを世話してるみたいに、俺もBadmanが気にかかってね。

Niko : He's my cousin.

• 奴は、俺の従兄弟だからな。

LJ : Blood be the tickest bond dere is ya know?Loyalty is no always an easy ting ya know star

• 血を流せば絆は深まるかもしれんが、忠誠を示すのは簡単な事じゃないだろ？

LJ : Badman tell me, say yo Jacob kill him, Jacob shoot dat, etcetera. Ain't always logical, but I an'I follow.Seen?

• Badmanは言うんだ。「Jacob、奴を殺せ」「Jacobそれを撃て」という具合にな。いつだって、無茶な事ばかり言う。でも、俺もお前も、それに従うってわけ、だろ？

LJ : De other day,him cold stab a man for giving us screw-face.

• この間なんか、ある男が俺達に悪態をついてきてな。そいつを刺してこいって言うんだ。

Niko : Orders sre sometimes hard.You must be sure you agree before you follow-
I have made that mistake myself,a long time ago.

• 注文がキツイ時があるよな。こっちが力になるか決める前に、もう同意した事になっていたりするだろ？随分前に、俺もそういう事で、失敗しちまった事があるよ。

LJ : For real. I know ya right ya know breda,But Badman is my braa.I follow him wherever

• あぁ、ほんとにそうだ。その通りだよな。でもなBadmanは俺の兄弟なんだ。できるだけ力になってやりたいのさ。

LJ : We dare.Thanks for everyting.Keep dis little something to say yo,we appreciate your assistance.Seen? Me talk to ya soon.

• そこで良いよ。今日はありがとう。助かったぜ。じゃあ、また近いうちにな。
