誰でも。co-Iの半数以上がESOのメンバーだと、外国人枠(観測採用数に上限が付けられてしまう枠)に入らなかったはず。チリ枠あり。

観測時期が10月から3月の提案については、3月末~4月始め
観測時期が4月から9月の提案については、9月末~10月始め

• 場所
• 24°37′38″S 70°24′15″W (チリ)。なので、南天の天体。-70度<DEC<20度くらい？

Most of the observing time on SOFIA is open to the international astronomical community via General Investigator (GI) proposal calls, which are issued on a yearly basis (see p.6 here).

FLITECAM
1-5 umのimagingとspectroscopyが可能。3.3um PAH narrow band filterあり。FOVは8' × 8'。北天でPAH filterがあるのはこれとGemini/NIRIのみ。

FORCAST
5-40 umのimagingとspectroscopyが可能。6.3um, 7.7um PAH, 24.3um [NeV]のnarrow band filterあり。FOVは3.2' × 3.2'。
