Magic Damage Formula
Damage Formula
[[[(BaseDamage) * RNG] * Element] * MG / IQ Calculation]
※All calculations rounded down to the nearest whole number each time.
※All calculations rounded down to the nearest whole number each time.
Maximum damage is 3 multiplied BaseDamage, minimum damage is 1.
Damage Formula's Factor Description
BaseDamage
Power determined for each magic.
65 if it's Valga, 750 if it's Chariot etc.
65 if it's Valga, 750 if it's Chariot etc.
RNG
Randomly 0.7 to 1 in 0.01 increments.
Element
Compatibility according to Atk's element and Def's element. If no match, multiply by 1.

MG / IQ Calculation
[[(Atk's MG * 100) / Def's IQ] / 100]
※Upper limit is 3, Lower limit is 0.

About Bugs In MG / IQ Calculations

For clarity, the allies are from the left 1, 2, 3, the enemies from the top I, II, III,
And the 1's ally shoots magic at the Ⅲ's enemy.
And the 1's ally shoots magic at the Ⅲ's enemy.
Normal game is MG of Xth(1 to 3) ally / IQ IQ of Yth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
That is, 1's MG / Ⅲ's IQ
That is, 1's MG / Ⅲ's IQ
But in this game is MG of Yth(1 to 3) ally / IQ of Xth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
That is, 3's MG / Ⅰ's IQ
That is, 3's MG / Ⅰ's IQ
And as a result of this weird specification, it sometimes refers to the status of a character that does not exist.
If there is no one in the MG referenced by the attacker ... Final damage is forced to 1.
If there is no one in the IQ referenced by the defender ... MG / IQ calculations is forced to 3.
If there is no one in the MG referenced by the attacker ... Final damage is forced to 1.
If there is no one in the IQ referenced by the defender ... MG / IQ calculations is forced to 3.
What It All Means
Assuming there are always three allies.
Position where the damage it inflicts is 3 multiplied and Damage taken will be fixed at 1. | |
When 1 enemy | position 2 & 3 |
When 2 enemies | position 3 |
When 3 enemies | None |
Magic attackers should be placed in the order of 3rd > 2nd > 1st to benefit.
Which Position Character Uses Which Status
- 1st ally
Target | Character referring to MG | Character referring to IQ |
---|---|---|
1st enemy | 1st ally | 1st enemy |
2nd enemy | 2nd ally | 1st enemy |
3rd enemy | 3rd ally | 1st enemy |
- 2nd ally
Target | Character referring to MG | Character referring to IQ |
---|---|---|
1st enemy | 1st ally | 2nd enemy |
2nd enemy | 2nd ally | 2nd enemy |
3rd enemy | 3rd ally | 2nd enemy |
- 3rd ally
Target | Character referring to MG | Character referring to IQ |
---|---|---|
1st enemy | 1st ally | 3rd enemy |
2nd enemy | 2nd ally | 3rd enemy |
3rd enemy | 3rd ally | 3rd enemy |
If it's a 3vs3 battle, put the low MG character against the high enemy and the high MG character against the low enemy.
Measures only against bosses.
Measures only against bosses.
How Did This Happen?
I imagine that the formula that should be.
IQ of Xth(1 to 3) ally / MG of Yth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
In short 1's IQ / Ⅲ's MG
IQ of Xth(1 to 3) ally / MG of Yth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
In short 1's IQ / Ⅲ's MG
but somehow MG and IQ were swapped.
MG of Yth(1 to 3) ally / IQ of Xth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
In other words, it must have been 3's MG / Ⅰ's IQ
MG of Yth(1 to 3) ally / IQ of Xth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
In other words, it must have been 3's MG / Ⅰ's IQ
Swapped.
┌───────┐
IQ of Xth(1 to 3) ally / MG of Yth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
┌───────┐
IQ of Xth(1 to 3) ally / MG of Yth(Ⅰ to Ⅲ) enemy
I think this is most likely.
