【xarva (BMS)とは】
2000年～2021年までBMS作品を制作していた、日本出身の作曲家。BMSイベントで複数回の優勝経験がある。
ken名義は『night starter』を代表作に持つken (dj15)とは別人なので注意。

narve名義ではトランスシーン、xarva名義ではアンビエントシーンに多大な影響をもたらしており、アンビエント系統のBMS作品で彼の右に出るものはいないと思われる。
【作風】
ken、narve名義ではTrance、Psychedelic Trance、Techno、Ambient、xarva名義ではAmbient、Chill Outのジャンルがメインとなっている。
narve名義の氏は巷では「BMSクラブミュージックガチ勢」の一人に数えられ、『osmosis』『the sorrow of the islands』『迦具土 -f.l.a.mix-』
などTrance楽曲の名曲をいくつも送り出している。特に『the sorrow of the islands』はIbiza TranceのBMSとしては最高傑作の一つとして語り継がれる。

xarva名義は従来の作風に加えてAmbientやChill Outの要素が強くなっており、BMSイベント「戦 [sen-goku] 國 ～夏の陣～」では、ロングノート
計7つを各キーに配置し、3分近く長押しして演奏する迷BMSBMS作品『sevenscape』を発表している。また、『Vorota』はホラーなBMS作品
として一部のユーザーから強い人気がある。

なお、xarva名義でコンピレーション系の同人音楽アルバムに参加するときの作品に関しては、その多くが空間的で癒されるサウンドになっている。
【現在】
2022年04月23日をもって全ての活動を休止しており、近況が掴めない状況にある。
【余談とか裏話とか】
- 『osmosis』は2018年にBGA作家のiimoがBMSイベント「BGA PARTY Classic/Unlimited」にてリリースから15年越しにBGAを提供している。
- 『Vorota』は「ボロタ」と読まれがちだが、正確には「ヴァロータ」である。
