Across the sea the Kingdom has also established a colony at Bro Erech, and the people have become skilled traders and explorers of the continent. The recent Saxon invasion has promoted many in Brittain to leave their island home and head for the relative safety of Bro Erech. Although the Kingdom has currently been spared Saxon raids, Caradog Freichfras sees the danger and has vowed to drive them from the island.

It dominates much of the southern shore of Britain. This kingdom has become an operating base for Saxon expansion in the British Isles. On the other hand, even though Elle has recently captured Chichester, his new position is a tenuous one.

A British Romano culture still exists here, and Ambrosius Aurelianus (nicknamed the last roman) has been high king ever since killing King Vortigern in a short but bloody civil war. The realm however is currently in decline. Ambrosius Aurelianus is sick and old, turning the title of high king to his nephew Arthur. Many have left the realm for other lands and the capital at Londium is under constant threat.

Raising his black banner of three Saxon mare heads, one to represent each of the Saxon armies he has driven from his lands. For now the Kingdom enjoys its position of strength; and many of it's former roman cities are still in full use.

Based in Northwest Wales, the rulers of Gwynedd are currently considered one of the more backwater Kingdoms being the first to loss much of their Roman knowledge. The Britons of Gwynedd remain however conscious of their Romano-British heritage, and their king continues to link his rule to the old imperial Roman order with the continued adoption of Latin and Christianity. The current King Cadwallon 'the long hand' aims to drive the Irish invaders out of ynys mon and has little interest in the Saxon invasion. Gwynedd has shifted towards a militaristic tribal society that although considered backwards, is one of the few Kingdoms to treat women more equally, thus seeing female warriors isnt uncommon.

Dumnonia was the home of the Celtic tribe known as the Cornovii. Their economy has been largely based off tin since ancient times. Currently the Kingdom also rules over much of Cornubia to the west and enjoys close family ties with Arthur's court - Guinevere being the kings eldest daughter.

The current King Vortipor has crowned himself 'High King', though in reality, this title doesn't go far beyond his own lands.

This is the most Romanized part of Wales, although they were descended from the Iron Age tribe of the Silures. Glywyssing is said to be named after Glywys, a legendary early monarch. Today the kingdom is actually a unification of three smaller ones, each ruled by the Kings three brothers holding a title of Brenin, while the eldest holds the title Brenin Uchel^ Lately, it is trying to keep its independence from the ever growing power of Gwent.

It often acts as a buffer between Powys to the north and the Briton realms to the south. The kingdom was founded by Irish raiders, very likely the Ui Liathain, whose power is growing in Wales under their current King Rhain Dremrydd. Currently the new kingdom is trying to remain independent from the growing power of Powys.

Cornubia was the home of the Celtic tribe known as the Cornovii. Their economy has been based on tin since ancient times. Currently they are under the dominance of Dumnonia and have close ties to Lyoness. As the Kingdom is home to Tintagel, Arthur's birthplace - the royal family also keeps ties and family bonds to Arthur's court.

A small semi independent kingdom often under the protection of Cornubia. These islands are also a stop over for refugees bound for the continent and fleeing the Saxon invaders.

Currently semi independent, these lands are ruled by Ebusa, brother of King Oeric of Kent. They are fiercely loyal to their Kentish-Saxon alliance.

It was also here that 40 years ago those same mercenaries rebelled, killed Vortigern's son and founded their own Kingdom. The current dynasty (descendants of Hengist and Horsa), have absorbed the kingdom of Cent, dominating it from their base in Cantwareburh.

Their leader Cerdic being a former Briton magistrate before seizing power for himself. Ironically Centuries later, it will be Cerdics descendants who drives Viking invaders from England, but for now it is Cerdic himself who is inviting more invaders to his homeland. The kingdom is currently looking to seize control of Venta Belgarum, held by Cerdic's former superior Natanleod.

During the civil war between King Vortigern and Ambrosius, the British central authority lost much of its control over of the region. And now it's current magistrate is also fighting to control his own territory from Saxon hords. The territories capital is Venta Belgarum.
qstr_You_are_in_the_kingdom_of_C|You are in the kingdom of CYNWIDION.^^Following the death of Mor ap Ceneu and the further division of the kingdom of Northern Briton, Mor's son Arthwys was given the Pennines while Arthwys youngest son led followers south and founded the Kingdom of Cynwidion. Sometimes referred to as the Kingdom of Middle Britain, the territory stretches from Powys in the north, east angles to the east and the river Thames to the south. The young nation will be lucky to survive long against the tide of East angle advances and new pressures from the Middil Engle to the north. Many of its newer towns don't even have walls yet making them easy targets for invaders.

The kingdom is located south of the Pennines, sharing a long eastern border with Ebrec, and a southern border with Linnuis. King Mascuid was originally granted the territory of Elmet by his father, Gwrast Lledlwm, king of Rheged and the city of Loidis has formed his capital. Today Elmet is ruled by Mascuid's son who is starting to face conflict with the Angles of Linnuis.

While the eldest gained the capital of Ebrauc, the next in line Arthuis was crowned the first 'King of the Pennines',. The name 'Pennines' derives from the Celtic word 'penn' which means 'mountain', or 'summit' for which the region has plenty, and also provides natural defense against any foolish enough to attempt to conquer.The kingdom's current ruler Pabo Post Prydein has been nicknamed the 'pillar of Britain' - likely for his continued defense of the northern lands against invading Picts.

A vast Kingdom, it stretches from Hadrian's wall all the way south to Cair Legion. known as the defenders on the wall, they maintain a garrison even though the kingdoms directly north of it - Bryneich and Galwyddel are currently friendly. The capital at Caer Ligualid is a marvel, one of the few roman towns not just in full use, but being properly maintained and repaired. The city boasts strong walls, running water, and even the last working fountain in all Britannia.
qstr_You_are_in_the_kingdom_of_EB|You are in the kingdom of EBRAUC.^^In North Britain, Ebrauc emerged as a result of the fragmentation of the 'Kingdom of Northern Britain'. It borders the North Sea to the east and Elmet to the west. One of the lesser kingdoms formed from the division, it now faces threats from not only the Angles of Linnuis, but Ebrauc's own Angle mercenaries at Deywr. Many say the Kingdom is Cursed - its own capital being swallowed up by the river Ouse. Thousands have drowned, thousands more have packed their bags and left the city for good.

With this Alaric decided to march on Rome and it fell to his forces in 410AD. Since his death Alaric's Visigothic Kingdom has become one of the most powerful in all of Europe.
