str_quick_battle_troop_1|From the continent of Nisaynia, the Rafkla Clan is a fearsome power in war, lead by their Clan 'King', Rafklazan. While conducting a naval raid on another clan, a huge wind blew their ships away and scattered them, and after sailing for many days, many of them landed on Reich lands in Perisno while others landed in the Draharan deserts. Rafklazan is desperate for a way home although he seems to be enjoying looting the countryside and wrecking caravans in Perisno, as these caravans are equally rich as the ones in Nisaynia.
str_quick_battle_troop_2|Nibor Hood is the leader of a rebel group of outlaws of Tolrania; commonly called 'bandits' by the Tolranian government. However, Nibor Hood's 'bandits' have quite a following due to their politcal message, claiming the Tolranian government is corrupt and oppessive to the common man. This makes many peasants very ready to join or help Nibor Hood's outlaws and overthrow the Tolranian government.
str_quick_battle_troop_3|Onishi, a captain of the Zann Dynasty, is the leader of the Zann Berserkers. Their goal is to cut a path through all inhabitants of Perisno before the Emperor Zann the Mandate of Heaven arrives, to take the land for the venerable Zann Dynasty.
str_quick_battle_troop_4|Forodan, who was declared a hero for holding his ground against thousands of Hakkon until help arrived during the Naphali war against Tolrania. After the war he quickly retired to a home in the hills of the Elintoran lands. Longing for adventure he quickly took up arms and set out crossing the land of Perisno with a party of sellswords looking for a fight.
str_quick_battle_troop_5|Baibars Hakkon, the veteran leader of a company of Hakkon legionnaires in the Hakkon civil war. After years of service he left the Hakkon military to strike out on his own as a sellsword. Using his years of experience he led a mercenary company all over Perisno. After years of leading his company he disbanded it to go home. Soon after his home was attacked by Tolranian soldiers. His wife and children were both killed and he also lost his house. He gathered his armour that was hidden behind the house and gathered his old legionnaire company and struck out at the Tolranians with a vengeance.
str_quick_battle_troop_6|Torlan was the leader of a small group of men who led the attack with the Elintorans against the Hakkon. He was seriously injured by a Hakkon lancer and soon retired from the army to live on a small farm. He quickly grew tired of the farm life and decided to strike out on his own. He gathered his gear and reformed a group known as the Kingsmen Elites.
str_quick_battle_troop_7|Aethling Culgrah, a noble of the Valahir clan who became tired of the peace between the Valahir and Maccavia. He soon abandoned his castle and took his army to raze the region claimed by Maccavia. He not only wanted action, but also vengeance for his wife had been killed by a Macciavian party when she entered their lands.
str_quick_battle_troop_8|The High Priestess of the Dragon Amara decided to take action against Eagle parties that were raiding the worshipper lands.She now rides with an army and a vengeance till kill every last Eagle party in Perisno.
str_quick_battle_troop_9|Uniter Zengi, a young soldier in the Drahara Army wanted to be more than a soldier. He left his camp at night and set off the desert and no one saw him for weeks. After awhile he came out of the desert with a massive force to conquer all of Perisno.
str_quick_battle_troop_10|A nomadic queen has come from the far deserts, Zolona is now trying to expand her influence to the lands of Perisno.
str_quick_battle_troop_11|Ulfhednar, the infamous Volheere Raider, has accumulated many a victory in his battles across Nisaynia, and he now comes to Perisno to test his strength, gather his loot, and drink himself to a stupor afterwards.
str_quick_battle_troop_12|General Yachamochi was a proud commander leading a scouting party into the wartorn lands of Perisno. He is a long serving General in the Zann military and has a lot of military experience. Him and an elite division hand picked by him scout Perisno in hopes of easy pickings for the Zann army.
str_quick_battle_troop_13|Zeladeck, Illica's greatest Falki Knight was not an Illica to begin with. He was an orphan raised by foresters. One day when he was a small child, Zeladeck found an injured Falki Knight in the forest, and persuaded his caretakers to tend its wound. Staying the Falki all day long for half a year as it recovered, Zeladeck and the Falki got to know each other well. When the Falki Knight regained its strength, and took Zeladeck to the Illica clan, only to reveal that that Zeladeck was a direct descendant of the Sky King, the strongest and most respected of the Illica. He was age ten by that time. Zeladeck was then taken under Illica care, being trained from then on. He soon became the greatest Falki Knight only at the age of 19. Some time after that, he went back to his home, only to see the abandoned wreck of what used to be his home. Raged, he alone went to the Reich, in order to find out the whereabouts of his foster parents and then take his vengeance. There he met a found the rogue Drachenritter who had killed them. This Drachenritter's strength was on par with his own. They fought an entire day without a winner. Not satisfied with the result, he went back to Illica to assemble his followers and try to settle the score, once and for all.
str_quick_battle_troop_14|Atanos Octiem is a proud commander of Third Legion troops. He believes it is his duty to the old Emperor of the Venetor Empire to pillage and conquer as much land in Perisno as possible. He was promised great rewards in return for his service to the Third. Octiem sets off to ravage the land of Perisno, adding fuel to the fire of the already war-torn continent.
str_quick_battle_troop_15|Torsson was one of the greatest fighters in Hylr, until his demise to Aethling Svafar. In his final stand, one man against 70, Torsson managed to bring 15 Valahir soldiers to their graves before falling to a Hersir.
str_quick_battle_troop_16|Chief Hahkethomemah of the Aroulo is one of the strongest fighters of the islands, overcoming many an opponent. He was granted a chiefdom after besting Aroulo Pomaahkaa, the grand chief of the Aroulo, in a duel.

Making sure that your victory is complete and all the wounded have been taken care of, you and the merchant head to his house to review the day's events.

str_journey_to_galwe|You take a ship through the heartland of Perisno, cruising upriver from the Shining Ocean to the Amber Sea. Green shoots of wheat, barley and oats are beginning to push through the dark soil of the rolling hills, and on the lower slopes of snowcapped mountains, herds of cattle and sheep are grazing on the spring grass. The land here is rich -- but also troubled, as the occasional burnt-out farm bears witness. You keep a wide berth of the forests, where desperate men have taken refuge, and it is some relief when you crest a ridge and catch sight of the great port of Leuven, its rooftops made golden by the last rays of the setting sun.
str_journey_to_freising|You sail across the Black Ocean to the Drachen highlands, a plateau exposed to the bitter winds from the north. The land here is frozen for most of the year, but the forests are rich with fur-bearing game, and the rivers are teaming with fish. The riches of the land draw the traders, but the traders in turn draw bandits. You see the occasional dark figure at the helm of a battle-scarred sloop, closely watching the passage of your ship through the icy water, and are glad when the spires of Freising come into view at the head of the bay. These lands are mysterious, and the stories tell of a dragon once seen in the sky- though no one would pass this off as more than a myth.
str_journey_to_uliastai|You ride with a caravan, crossing the mountains that separate Perisno from the Scabrous Plains, bringing spices from faraway lands to trade for wool and salt. The passes are still choked with winter snow, but at last you crest a ridge and see before you the great Perisnoan steppes. On some hillsides, the thin grass of spring was yet to appear, but the lower slopes of the mountains were already a vibrant green. Herds of sheep and tawny steppe ponies drifted across them like clouds, a testament to the wealth of the Drahara emirs. From time to time, small groups of horsemen follow your caravan at a distance, perhaps sizing up how well you can defend the wealth you carry, so it is a great relief when you spot the towers of Uliastai rising up from the plains.
str_journey_to_forde|You take passage with a trading longship, carrying gyrfalcons from the furthest reaches of the north to be bartered for linen and wool. It is still early in the season, but the captain reckons that the risks of drifting ice and later winter storms could be justified by an arrival ahead of the Volheere, who by April would be sailing forth from Nisaynian lairs to ravage Perinso's coasts. It is with some relief when the thatched rooves and narrow canals of Forde come into sight after passing through the Valahir Strait. You have entered the home to the Volheeres' distant kinsmen, the Maccavian lords, who a few generations ago carved themselves a kingdom in this rich but troubled land.
str_journey_to_amarna|You ride with a caravan, crossing the great Scabrous Plains southeast of Perisno. The bedouin guides choose your route carefully, leapfrogging through treacherous dune fields and across empty gravel plains to the low-lying oases rich with orchards and date palms. You begin to fear that the caravan might lose its way and perish of thirst as the desert sea stretches out before you. The caravan encounters a small bands of raiders who hover just out of bowshot, waiting to pick off stragglers. This is an odd comfort- at least water could be no more than a day's ride away. It is a great relief when the mountains come into view, and on the evening of the following day you crest a rocky pass and in the distance can make out the sea, and the towers of Amarna silhouetted against the sunset.
str_journey_to_grund|You join a trading Nisaynian longship carrying traders and mercenaries across the Black Ocean. The breeze off the water chills you and the crew to the bone, but the full sails soon put you in sight of of the snowy peaks of the island of the Valahir Clan. As you enter the strait, you see the Maccavian city of Arendal off the starboard side, and off the port side you see several smaller villages with plumes of campfire smoke rising in the snowy air. The longship follows the coast for some time, at one point passing a daunting fleet of ships commanded by a local aethling. Your anxiety fades away when you spot Grund in the distance, an oasis of green protruding from the whitewashed landscape and humming with activity.
str_journey_to_forniron|You take a ship across the Shining Ocean, skirting the cliffs where the Naphali woodlands meet the sea. Much of the coastline is obscured by tendrils of fog that snake down the river valleys, but occasionally you catch sight of a castle watchtower rising above the mists -- and on one occasion, a beacon of fire burning to warn of an enemy warband.
