Overview
- Hardcore mode is one of the elements unlocked after clearing the game.
- It is unlocked after successfully clearing Final Era Level and reaching the ending.
- This mode aims to clear all levels of the story mode from the beginning without dying, and clearing it earns you a special achievement.
- If you die along the way, you have to start over from the beginning. Therefore, the difficulty is very high.
- It is also a very time-consuming mode; if you don't die, the time per attempt will be about one and a half to three hours. Therefore, it is recommended to challenge it when you have plenty of time. To the people of busy working adult, just good luck.
Set List
Strategy
- As mentioned above, since you have to clear each level in a row, it is a major prerequisite for the challenge to have the ability to clear each of them stably.
- You can open the pause screen, but you cannot restart (*1), and one mistake can be fatal. Therefore, you basically need to be able to play without making mistakes.
- Before challenging, build a stable strategy chart for each level and practice until you can clear it stably.
- Especially, if there are levels you only cleared by luck, practice hard. If even one level lacks stability, the probability of clearing it will drop sharply. Restarting in this mode is mentally very tough, so the only way is to practice until you are stable.
- Although you need to clear it in a row, you can open the pause screen, so it might be effective to take regular breaks while playing. This mode is very time-consuming, so you might want to take a break after clearing each level.
- The most difficult levels are Language Level and Music Level. Both are very difficult; the former has the risk of accidental death due to the teacher Lucas Golenevsky's footsteps being almost inaudible, and the latter has the very dangerous risk of accidents due to the persistent interference of Kittie and Ertoo Walkatosia. Especially in the latter, there are also patterns that are impossible to deal with, so it takes on the appearance of a half-baked game of chance.
Side Note
- Perhaps due to a setting mistake, only when you are killed by the Principal in Math Level and Science Level, you transition to the normal game over screen and can restart from that level.
- However, it must be said that it is subtle whether this bug is useful or not, since these two levels are relatively easy and once you get used to them, there are almost no elements that would cause you to die.
- In the remastered version, this bug was fixed at version 1.4.0.
