"Don't forget to bring me the cake, hehe."

Overview
- Helpscreen is one of the sub-characters in this game.
- This character, who looks like a speaker, is in charge of explaining the tutorial.
- Unusually for a character in this game, he has the exact same name, appearance, voice, personality, and role as the character from AEwVS.
- Similar to Helpscreen in AEwVS, he uses voice-based explanations to progress through the tutorial.
- His character is so similar that people who have played AEwVS will feel a sense of nostalgia.
- However, unlike in AEwVS, he is treated as a story character here.
- He is one of the few friendly characters who takes a friendly attitude toward Emily.
- In the classic version, he only appears in the Tutorial level, and in the remastered version, he also appears in Free mode.
Behavior
- As mentioned above, he behaves almost identically to Helpscreen from AEwVS.
- He uses voice-based explanations to give the tutorial for this game.
- This includes having a foul mouth and a long-winded way of explaining things, which is almost identical to his counterpart in AEwVS. He sometimes talks about meaningless things, so it might be best to not listen to everything he says.
- However, his verbosity is somewhat better, and he only goes off on tangents occasionally.
- There is a scene where he asks William Thorne if he can hear him and then argues with William's voice.
- In this scene, he criticizes the evil deeds that William is doing, and William talks back to him, showing that he is treated as a story character, not just a meta-character in charge of the tutorial.
- By the way, in this scene, he calls Emily "my best friend," which also shows that he himself has friendly feelings toward Emily.
- For some unknown reason, this scene was cut in the remastered version.
- The scene where he mentions Samara has also been cut, perhaps because Samara's name was changed to Girly.
- He also appears in the first murmuring sound of the Final Era Level, which also suggests that he is a character in the story.
- His turn to appear is surprisingly the very last one. He can be heard as the screen is whiting out.
- At this time, pink letters that have never been seen before are written on the left wall. The content is not intimidating like before, but is encouraging and shows that he believes in Emily. It has not been explicitly stated, but it is possible that these letters are a manifestation of his feelings.
- In the remastered version, he still appears in the murmuring sound, but because the whiting out happens earlier, these letters can no longer be seen(*1).
- Despite being treated this way, in the celebratory scene after William is defeated, he is the only character besides William who is left out. Even Ertoo is there...
Well, that Ertoo is left out of the murmuring sound at the beginning, though.Could it be that he couldn't rush to the scene because he can only appear in certain locations?- Nurse also does not appear in these scenes, but she was a character added later in the remastered version, so that is somewhat understandable. However, since Helpscreen was a character from before, this treatment stands out even more.
- In the remastered version, his appearance and voice have not changed at all. As mentioned above, although some voice clips have been cut, his voice tone has not changed at all. He and Kittie are the only characters with this treatment.
- In the remastered version, he also appears in Free mode and explains what kind of mode it is.
- His hostile attitude toward William remains unchanged, but he doesn't talk about anything long-winded and only talks about what is necessary.

Hi, my name is Helpscreen, and I will teach you how to beat this damn pussy-shit game. Ok, let's get started, to move just press WASD on your key board, to interact with what ever thing they're called, the door and the notebook, just press E. To use an item doesn't matter what the names are, just click the Right Mouse Button To sprint press Shift+WASD To breath just press C To drop a dumb item just press R and then you will dance without pants. Remember to turn off the lights before dancing. Understand? Otherwise Samara will kill you, and drag her hairs at you. To select the slot, just press 1,2,3,4 on your keyboard, or if you want just move the mouse Wheel Up or Down Angelica will be happier, because of that! Remember to go to the bed before the final chase of every level starts, because if you don't, then you will have to pay the consequences sadly. William can you hear me? |
This line is spoken at the beginning of the Tutorial level. In the remastered version, some text, such as the mention of Samara, has been cut. |
That wasn't really nice to me, and btw, you need to stop controlling the fucking teacher's brains that's really stupid thing to do, exactly, you're going to kill my best friend Emily. She's right here, with me right now So you better stop, do stupid fucking things and stay there, in you lair. |
This line is spoken after the dialogue from William Thorne which follows the above line. It is not used in the remastered version. |
Anyways, proceed to the next stage and do not forget to bring me a cake hehe. |
This line is spoken after the dialogue from William and Emily which follows the above line. In the remastered version, it is spoken after the first dialogue. |
In this stage all you need to do is to open this door, with the blue door key. If you don't know, what a blue door key is It's basically a key, to open a door. Easy as that! |
This line is spoken when entering the second room of the tutorial level. |
This game was not meant to copy Advanced Education It's just a fangame! |
This line is inserted at the end of the end credits. Although the voice quality is quite different, it can be inferred that this is his line since the data name is "helpscreenspeechCredits.ogg" and the subtitle color is the same. It was deleted in the remastered version. |
(No! Don't choose that! It's too risky! Just beat the game like you normally do, Emily!) |
Unused data. Although it exists as data internally, it is never used in the game. It might have been planned to be used in the Final era level. |
