"BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH ON THE WAY!"
+ | Contents |
Overview
- Tatiana Anderson is a teacher who appears in the first bonus level of the remastered version.
- She is in charge of the computer science subject and appears as a teacher in Computer Science Level.
- Unlike previous teachers, she has the clear appearance of a human, not an animal. Since all previous teachers were animals, she gives a quite fresh impression.
- She is a blonde-haired woman wearing a white shirt and black pants. She also wears black glasses and, fitting for a computer science teacher, holds a small terminal in her hand. However, it is not explicitly stated that she is human, so it is unknown if she is really a person.
- When the EMP Watch is used, her voice gets noisy, she behaves as if a machine is bugging out, and then she stops, so there is a possibility that she is a type of machine.
- Although William Thorne's curse should have been broken, just like the previous teachers, if you get even one of her problems wrong, she will immediately fly into a rage, her eyes glowing red, and she will try to kill you.
Behavior
- Her behavior is different from any of the previous teachers, but if one had to be compared, it would be closest to Lucas Golenevsky's.
- She moves with "clack, clack" sounds of her shoes, but these footsteps are very quiet, making it difficult to notice her approach.
- They aren't as quiet as Lucas's, but they're still quiet enough that you might miss them if you're not paying attention. When you go around a corner or through a door, be sure to check for any footsteps.
- Her movement speed is extremely slow, and you can easily put distance between you and her just by walking away. She is noticeably slower than even Lucas or Sophie. For this reason, it is easy to escape from her.
- However, the notebooks in Computer Science Level take a very long time to solve, and combined with how difficult it is to notice her approach, it's very common to get caught while you're solving a notebook. For this reason, she is still a significant threat.
- When she sees you, she says an intimidating line. This makes it relatively easy to notice her approach, but it also functions as a light jumpscare, so you're guaranteed to get a little surprised.
- When you use the EMP Watch while you are close to her, you can stop her in her tracks for a certain amount of time, just like with Emma or Sophie. As mentioned in the overview, her voice gets noisy during this time, she behaves as if a machine is bugging out, and then she stops.
- The EMP Watch has a fairly wide range, and it is effective even through walls or from a short distance away. For this reason, if you are unsure if she is around a corner or through a door, it is effective to just try using it to see if it works. However, the EMP Watch is on the blacklist, so it's safer to avoid using it in hallways.
- Whether it's only effective for up to 3 times has not yet been verified. Someone please look into it.
- After a certain number of notebooks are collected(*1), she will start breaking down doors like Lucas. There is almost no change in difficulty, but the jumpscare element increases, so the horror factor doubles.
- When you collect all 20 notebooks, just like with the previous teachers, you will have a final chase with her. She asks you if you thought you could escape from her, then immediately denies it and declares that you can't escape from her. After that, the background music starts, and when its intensity reaches its peak, she resumes her pursuit. While her movement speed is slow in normal gameplay, during the final chase she chases you at a very fast speed, just like the other teachers, and she also stops saying her lines when she spots you.
- In the final chase with her, you have to repair the elevator's OS to escape, but it's a very difficult and time-consuming process because there's a lot to do and some of the tasks require you to wait for a certain amount of time. Furthermore, just like with the previous teachers, the only way to detect her approach is to see her, and since the level is complex, it's very nerve-wracking. In addition, what you need to do is not intuitively obvious, so many people who play for the first time end up playing a long game of tag with her while being constantly confused, and some people seem to dislike the chase with her. It becomes much easier once you know what to do, so practicing in Puss mode first is a great idea.
- When you use the USB containing the OS data on the elevator panel and repair the OS, her anger subsides and her pursuit stops. The player then uses the repaired elevator and proceeds to National Flags Level.

Dialogue
---------(Dialogue)--------- | ---------(Notes)--------- |
Oh, I see someone came in my-my floor. Hello. I am Mrs. Tatiana and I teach you computer science. You should go to my class, but after that, I think you know what really happens. |
Greeting dialogue at the start of the level. |
Even though it may look confusing, this is a very basic task. Let me explain. You've got a code, and you can see the output it should return in the terminal. Fix the code so that it returns the same as you see below, then press OK. I really don't know how students manage to screw up in these tasks, like, it's super simple if you know how to read. Now it's your turn, fix the code and do not get it wrong, or else... |

Side Note
- In versions 1.2 to 1.2.3 of the remastered version, data from the in-development Computer Science Level was left in the game's internal files, and by using cheats or other methods to access it, you could see her behavior during the development stage.
- At that stage, she not only lacked the dialogue when she spotted you, but she also had the ability to silently teleport to a fixed position at random times. If this had been implemented in the final version, it would have been a nightmare setting where it would be incredibly difficult to notice her approach, and even more difficult to predict her location due to the teleportation. It's a real relief that the settings were changed midway through.
- At this stage, her appearance, voice, jumpscare, and game over screen were already implemented, and since these did not change in the final version, people who knew how to use cheats or analyze game files were able to learn about her in advance before the final version was released. However, this also led to some unscrupulous individuals leaking this information...
