Overview
- This page lists the bugs that have been found in the game.
- Note that glitches (advantageous bugs) are also listed in Tips, Tricks, and Trivia, but in general, bugs are listed here.
List of found bugs
Kittie Confinement Bug
- A bug in Science Level where Kittie is trapped in the small room where she spawns and cannot get out.
- As long as you or Principal or others don't open the door, she will remain trapped forever, so Kittie is virtually absent in this level.
- If you open the door, she will move normally, so if you want to play at the original difficulty, open it for her.
- This bug seems to have occurred in version 1.1.0, as it was working normally in versions before 1.0.0.
- It has not been fixed in the remastered version.
Kittie Stuck Bug
- A bug where Kittie sometimes gets stuck on desks or other objects in a room and cannot move.
- When she gets stuck, she won't move at all until she finds you, which significantly lowers the difficulty of the level.
- If the sound of Kittie's noise doesn't move from a certain location, it is highly likely that this bug has occurred.
- The probability of the bug occurring is not that high, but there is no way to prevent it as Kittie gets stuck on her own while wandering.
- However, if you intentionally let her see you, she will break out of the bug and return to her normal behavior, so if you don't want to exploit the bug, you can go help her out. However you'll have to choose between a tuna fish and your life.
- Conversely, if you don't mind exploiting the bug, try not to open the door to the room where Kittie is likely to be.
- It has not been fixed in the remastered version.
Sophie Stuck Bug
+ | Video Included |
- In Music Level, a bug where Sophie Adelbert gets stuck and can't move if you guide her in a certain direction in a certain hallway connecting Hallway B and Long Hallway.
- If you exploit this bug, you can easily neutralize Sophie, making it a significant game-breaking bug.
- If the shortest path to chase you becomes a different direction, she will break out of the stack and return to her normal behavior.
- She will not get stuck if you don't guide her in a specific direction, so if you don't want to use the bug, consider your movement route.
- It has not been fixed in the remastered version.
Math Notebook Input bug
- In the remastered version 1.4.0 and later, a bug that makes it impossible to input decimal points into math notebooks.
- You can input a comma, but it is not recognized as a decimal point, so the answer is treated as incorrect even if the number is right.
- This is quite fatal in Math Level's Brainiac mode, as some of the problems have answers that are decimals.
- In very rare cases, you can input a decimal point, but the conditions are unknown.
List of bugs fixed in the remastered version
Principal Time Switch Bug
- A bug where the lesson time/break time switch used for Principal's judgment does not work correctly in some levels.
- The bell rings at the time of the switch, but even though it has become break time, you may still be taken away by Principal if you run. For this reason, it is quite troublesome to play these levels as you cannot run carelessly.
- This bug has been confirmed to occur in Science Level, Music Level, and also in Computer Science Level up to version 1.3.1 of the remastered version. Be careful when playing these levels.
- The only way to deal with this is to act carefully to avoid being taken away by Principal.
- Although it was not fixed for a long time in the remastered version, it was finally fixed in version 1.4.0. For this reason, you no longer need to consider this bug in the remastered version.
List of fixed bugs
Principal Neutralization Bug
- A bug where Principal stops moving at all if you enter a narrow space between a desk and a wall while being chased by Principal.
- If you exploit this bug, you can easily neutralize Principal, making it a significant game-breaking bug.
- Fixed in version 1.1.0.
Principal Freeze Bug
- A bug in the remastered version where after being taken to the punishment room by Principal, the countdown and dialogue do not start, and you remain restrained forever.
- The cause is unknown. It doesn't always happen, but it occurs quite frequently, and if it does, it is quite fatal as you are forced to restart the level.
- The only way to deal with this is to act carefully to avoid being taken away by Principal.
- Fixed in version 1.3.0.
