I admit I wasn't sure what I would find when I arrived. It's been only a handful of years since my last adventure here, but I'd feared Selleiech had forgotten her promise. The arrangement is crude but I have what I need. I should only be here a few days.

Selleiech's hut is gone from the beach, washed away as if it never existed. This is impressive only in that the hut was made of stone and must have weighed several tons.

I wandered down the beach, and on the southwest corner of the island I met a ranalon that calls itself Puffy Ben, for reasons I have not learned. To my surprise, Puffy Ben recognized me and agreed to help me in Selleiech's absence. I have explained my needs and he will have preparations within three days.

I leave this place. I'm leaving behind a communication crystal for you.

ここに来て何を見つけることになるのか、正直なところ私にも分からなかった。
前にここで冒険してからまだ数年しか経っていないが、セレイエックが約束を忘れてしまっているのではないかと恐れていたのだ。
取り決めは粗末なものだが、必要なものは手に入った。
ここに滞在するのは数日だけで済むだろう。

セレイエックの小屋は浜辺から消えていた。
まるで最初から存在しなかったかのように、波にさらわれてしまったのだ。
驚くべきなのは、その小屋が石造りで、数トンはあったはずだという点だけだ。

私は浜辺を歩き回り、島の南西の端でパフィー・ベンと名乗るラナロンに出会った。
なぜそんな名前を名乗っているのかはまだ分からない。
驚いたことに、パフィー・ベンは私のことを覚えており、セレイエックがいない間は手助けしてくれると言った。
私は必要なことを説明し、彼は三日以内に準備を整えると言っている。
