Born August 4, 1983. Born in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

Joined Falcom while studying at Music University. He was enrolled from “Sora no Kiseki” in 2004 to “Xanadu Next” in 2005. After leaving the company, he changed his name from Takahide Murayama (via Eiichiro Yanagi) to Eiichiro Yanagi and is now working as a freelance composer.

His modern and stylish sound gave Falcom a new new breeze. The great musical success of “Gurumin” is definitely his achievement. If you know Murayama's song “Soaring Through the Melancholy Skies”, you will be convinced. His sharp sensibility and rock soul were also demonstrated in "Ys -The Oath in Felghana-", but his ability as an arranger to draw out the goodness of the song was still insufficient. That's why in Xanadune Next, he made a comeback and made a variety of songs, including cool and funky rock, fantastic ambient and melancholic ballads, and again showed off his high ability as a composer.

It has great sensitivity and skills, and it is regrettable that a short turnover will be made. After that, Mr.Takeshita, who has a musicality similar to him, inherited Murayama's position. If Mr.Murayama was enrolled for a few years, “Ys Origin” and “Sora no Kiseki the 3rd” would have become more diverse and modern music. Mr.Murayama's sound influence was so great for Falcom at that time.

1983年8月4日生まれ。愛知県名古屋市出身。

音大で学んでいた途中、ファルコムへ入社。2004年の『英雄伝説VI 空の軌跡』から2005年『ザナドゥ・ネクスト』まで在籍していた。退社後名前を村山貴英から(柳英一郎を経て)今は柳英一朗と変えてフリーのコンポーザーとして活動中。

氏のモダンでスタイリッシュなサウンドはファルコムに新たな新風を吹かせた。『ぐるみん』の音楽的な大成功は間違いなく氏によるところが大きいだろう。それは今も名曲として燦然と輝いている「悲しき蒼穹を翔ける」の作曲者だと言えば誰もが納得して頂けるはずだ。氏の鋭い感性とロック魂は『イース フェルガナの誓い』でも発揮されたが曲の良さを引き出すアレンジャーとしての能力はまだ力不足だった（本製品版では神藤由東大氏による全曲アレンジ）。その分『ザナドゥネクスト』では名誉挽回する働きを見せクールでファンキーなロック、幻想的なアンビエント、メランコリックなバラードなど多様な曲を作り出し作曲者としての能力の高さを再び誇示した。

素晴らしい感性とスキルを持っており短期間での離職がつくづく惜しまれる。そのあと氏のポジションを似た音楽性を持つ竹下氏が受け継いだかたちとなるがもしあと数年在籍していたなら『イースオリジン』や『空の軌跡 the 3rd』はもっと多様でモダンな劇伴になっていたはずだ。それぐらい氏の作り出すサウンドの個性は強かった。
