**解説
Allwinner A31 (Cortex-A7 QuadCore(～1GHz) + PowerVR SGX544MP2)
[[A10>AllwinnerA10]]の後継機。[[Rockchipの資料>http://www.51cube.com/bbs/thread-56395-1-1.html]]によるとTSMCの40nmGで製造されている？
廉価版に[[AllwinnerA20]]があるようだ
Allwinner公式曰くGPUはTegra3の2倍で第3世代iPadの90%程度というすごい性能らしい
8コアGPUと表記されていることもあるがGPUはSGX544MP2([[SGX544>http://www.imgtec.com/jp/News/Release/index.asp?NewsID=484]]が1つで4つのパイプライン=8コア？)
A10のManyCore詐欺みたいなもの？GPUは350MHzという噂
また、64bitのバス幅にも対応しておりメモリ帯域が広い
GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD C24Z16 - Offscreen(1080p)でも1995Framesと、[[Rockchip RK3066]]の1501Framesを上回る
CPUはクアッドコアで、256kbのL1キャッシュ,1MBのL2キャッシュを備えているが
AllwinnerA31はクロックが1GHzと低く、4コアのA7(1.0GHz)が2コアA9(1.5GHz)程度の性能
1スレッドあたりの性能も[[Cortex-A9>用語集#ca9]]には劣り
4コアまで対応してないアプリではあまり力を発揮できないと思われる
ただし[[Cortex-A7>用語集#ca7]]は電力効率に関してはとてもよく性能に対し省電力
A7(28nm)はA8(45nm)の1/5程度の消費電力で、同程度の性能を実現できる
AllwinnerA31は40nmだが、それでも45nmのA8に比べれば大きく省電力と思われる
さらに[[Nvidia Tegra3]]のような、低負荷時用のコアを別でひとつ備えているとか
動画は4096×2304や100Mbpsに対応などA10を超えた圧倒的な性能を持ち
解像度では新しいiPadのRetina(2048x1536)もサポートする
ただしApple曰く[[第3世代iPadですらRetinaにはGPU性能が不足している>http://eetimes.jp/ee/articles/1301/08/news037.html]]とか、Retinaの動作に関してはあまり期待しないほうがいいかもしれない

Teclast、ONDA、AMPE、ICOO、Ployerなどが搭載タブレットを発売する予定
