41 Visitors I
Mission Text
Looks like we've got invaders. It's time to crack down on them. You'll be patrolling the town while you're at it. I don't care how many times you've done this before, though. Don't get sloppy.
Mission Start
Captain: Intruders. Find and destroy them.
Captain: They're hiding around the city. Be careful.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: I saw an Alien!
Captain: I'll show them who's boss!
Soldier: Humanity's gonna fight back!
Captain: You think you beat us? We're not gone yet!
Soldier: The situation may not be the best. But we're the EDF!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: You're a professor, aren't you? What're you doing here?
Professor: I left the army and hid for three years. They dragged me back and now I'm here.
Soldier: You ran away? Coward.
Professor: I wanted to save my family. But I ended up losing them instead.
Soldier: So you chose family over fighting... I can't say I agree, but I do understand.
Soldier: That's right.
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Androids. They've infiltrated the city.
Captain: You think we'll let you steal this town?
Soldier: Humanity is exhausted. We can't fight anymore.
Soldier: But we have to keep going. As long as they keep coming for us.
Soldier: The enemies are industrious. We have to be relentless, too. No rest.
Soldier: Aliens sighted.
(Battle bigins, and the 2nd wave of allies appears)
Captain: Don't think you can chase us out! This is our town!
Captain: You disgusting alien puppets! I'll blast you apart!
Soldier: Those are Powered Exoskeletons.
Soldier: The exterminators have arrived!
Exterminator: Leave it to those of us with Powered Exoskeletons.
Exterminator: We'll show you how strong we really are.
(The Ring appears)
Soldier: The radar's acting up! What's going on?!
Soldier: Whoa! Look at the sky!
Soldier: No way, no how, it can't be...
Soldier: What was that?
Soldier: A spaceship. The Primers' army is back.
Captain: Stupid Primers. Guess they still had some fight left in 'em.
Soldier: Wait, wait wait! I can't fight anymore! Don't go calling for reinforcements now!
Soldier: They still wanna keep fighting.
Soldier: I've had enough of this. Enough!
Soldier: What's humanity supposed to do now? We're done for.
Soldier: They wanna keep fighting.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Androids are gathering in this area.
Captain: What the hell?
Captain: So they're trying to reach that huge flying object? Well, we won't let them.
Captain: This is our planet! There's no place here for Machine Men!
Soldier: It's dangerous under the ship. Retreat.
Soldier: They must have some unknown weapon. Something that can destroy us all.
Captain: It might not be a weapon.
Captain: They're planning something, but they won't have their way. I'm gonna figure out what they're trying to do.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: The Androids are heading for the flying object.
Captain: Damn Androids! They want to seal off the area.
Captain: The Androids want to seal off the area and protect that huge flying thing. We're not gonna let them.
Soldier: But this is so dangerous. What if that flying thing starts attacking?
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: There were Androids!
Captain: Don't act like you run the place, you damn Androids!
(The Large Spaceships appear)
Soldier: Something's here again!
Soldier: It's a ship carrying Androids.
Soldier: They're gathering together. A fleet of ships.
Captain: What are they trying to start?
Soldier: Hey, look! A huge spaceship!
Captain: So they're trying to start something after all.
Soldier: What's that light?
(The Large Spaceships disappear)
Soldier: It's gone! The ship disappeared!
Soldier: How could something so big just up and disappear?
Captain: Did they sacrifice their own ship? Have they lost their minds?
Soldier: Enemy ship, gone! Where did it go?
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Professor: Attacking that device sent us back to the past. If that's what's happened...that means it has the ability to manipulate time.
Professor: It's a type of time machine. The Primers are trying to change the past.

42 The Next Day I
Mission Text
You'd better stay sharp. We're the only ones defending this town. I don't care what happens...we're surviving this.
Mission Start
Corporal: Anyway through the northern corridor? There should be an untouched supply room there.
Lieutenant: Negative. It's completely collapsed. There's no way through there.
Corporal: We're running low on rations. We need that food.
Lieutenant: Yes, I know.
Corporal: We'll go from the surface. The supply room is only 500 meters below.
Lieutenant: That sounds like a terrible plan. We'll all die if we head up to the surface.
(Alert activation)
Soldier: There they are!
Lieutenant: Let's go!
Lieutenant: Ready arms.
Corporal: Roger that!
Lieutenant: Do not forget how many lives are in our hands. There are 500 civilians down below. We can't fail!
Soldier: Dammit! They're here!
Soldier: They finally decided to make an appearance.
Lieutenant: They can't enter underground. Most likely monsters.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Monsters!
Soldier: A monster's made its way in!
Soldier: Another one's in!
Soldier: I've fought about a dozen of these things, but they are creepier underground.
Lieutenant: It's better than facing the alternative. Make quick work of it!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: There are some here!
Lieutenant: Let's go!
Professor: This is the same history as our own. Nothing has changed.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: I can't believe they've reached us all the way here.
Soldier: This is our turf!
Soldier: Sheesh! They really are formidable.
Lieutenant: Do as we do! Exterminate them asap!
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Over here! This way!
Soldier: Dammit! There's still some left!
Soldier: This place isn't safe anymore.
Lieutenant: Still, it's better than the surface.
Soldier: Sometimes I can't tell which is worse, the surface or the underground.
Soldier: Yeah, I know.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Stupid monster! You won't get away with this!
Soldier: We're happy in our underground settlement. You can't have it!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: There should be more. Look for them.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
(Join the Lieutenant's Team)
Lieutenant: You take the lead. You've got the most experience.
Soldier: Have you seen anything like them before?
Soldier: Yeah, but just the thought sends shivers down my spine. I will never go to the surface.
Soldier: I suppose they are now the overlords of Earth.
Soldier: I would have never believed that demons would rule over the surface 3 years ago.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Enemy sighted!
Soldier: Where in the world are they coming from?
Soldier: This is our home! Leave at once!
(The nth wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: There are more above!
Soldier: Enemies are coming outta this hole!
Lieutenant: Show them no fear! Exterminate them all!
Soldier: This isn't the first time a monster's gotten in, but these numbers mean trouble.
Soldier: You mean there's more?
Lieutenant: I suspect so. Find all of them and exterminate 'em.
Soldier: Trespasser! Go back to the surface!
Soldier: The numbers this time are staggering. There really might be a nest nearby.
Lieutenant: There are 500 civilians. We must stop the enemy.
Soldier: The monsters are building nests underground. There's one already made nearby.
Soldier: Whatever. I guess this is the end for us.
Soldier: Over there!
Lieutenant: If they get to the settlement it's all over! Stop those things!
Professor: Time's running out. We have to go to the surface and search for the Ring.
Professor: Going to the surface means sure death if they find us. What shall we do...
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
Professor: We've run out of time. We must execute the plan.
(Approach the wet area)
Soldier: It's a cave. I can smell water.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: There are some here, too!
Soldier: Where are they coming from?
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: That's a wrap. We can finally take a breather.
Soldier: But where are these enemies coming from anyway?
Soldier: There's nothing here. Maybe it's over there?
Soldier: Is this the remains of an old water pipe?
(The 6th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Look over there! They're coming in!
Soldier: So that's their secret entrance!
Soldier: It's a massive horde!
Soldier: There's no end of them!
Soldier: This place is done for!
Lieutenant: We can't let them get past us. Shoot!
Lieutenant: Stop them! There are 500 civilians behind us!
Soldier: A monster found us. The underground city is no longer safe.
Soldier: Wanna bet whether we run outta food first or they get to us first?
Lieutenant: Today's victory is ours!
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Corporal: We need rations. I'll head to the surface.
Lieutenant: Wait! You'll die if you go out there!
Corporal: I'll return safely, I promise.
Lieutenant: I gotta say, thing's ain't lookin' too bright.
Lieutenant: The surface belongs to the demons. There's no hope in returning alive.

Mission Text
We can't just abandon them. We're going to rescue the corporal.
It's dangerous there on the surface. Find the corporal, then pull back immediately. Don't get distracted by food.
Mission Start
Lieutenant: Quiet. They'll find us.
Lieutenant: Do not flinch if you see them. Fear will lead to death.
Soldier: The Earth is controlled by demons. We are only alive because they allow us to be.
Lieutenant: Calm down! Don't panic!
Lieutenant: We fight. No matter how scary they are, they can't be invincible to our firepower.
Soldier: I heard one look makes you go crazy. Just a rumor.
Lieutenant: Don't worry, you don't need your sanity out there.
Soldier: The Kruul...!
Soldier: Do not mention that which should not be mentioned!
Soldier: Look!
Corporal: Help!
(The Kruuls switch to attack mode)
Soldier: They're here!
Soldier: The demons! The Kruuls!
Soldier: How horrendous!
Soldier: So those are the demons!
Lieutenant: Do not cower! Shoot, shoot, shoot!
Lieutenant: Kruuls can die from bullet wounds. Keep shooting them!
Soldier: I can't land a single shot!
Soldier: They are stopping our bullets!
Soldier: They are blocking with their arms!
Soldier: They've got so many arms they can attack and defend at the same time!
Lieutenant: How wily of them. But they can't keep it up forever. Refocus your target and fire!
Soldier: They're coming from this way, too!
Soldier: Look out!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Incoming Kruul!
Soldier: Kruuls!
Soldier: I don't have a death wish. Let's return underground!
Lieutenant: That would lead them straight to us! If they find the underground city, it's game over!
Soldier: I shouldn't have come to the surface! I'm going back underground!
Lieutenant: They won't even let you run. It's do or die, team!
Lieutenant: If you want to go home, defeat the Kruul!
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Lieutenant: You survived. Lady Luck must be on your side.
Professor: This is grand. Now we can look for the Ring on the surface. I have an idea where it may be. Give me a minute.
Professor: Aha, there was a slight miscalculation. But it should still be in the general area.
Professor: That is to say, time to do what we always do.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Lieutenant! We've got a problem... We're surrounded by demons!
Lieutenant: Excuse me!?
Soldier: Look, over there!
Soldier: That can't be good!
Soldier: It's an entire demonic platoon!
Soldier: They're here to kill us!

Mission Text
They're coming. We should hide here.
...
Our allies have been scattered, but I'm sure they're still alive. If we don't go to rescue them, then...
We need to do some recon. You wait here.
Mission Start
Corporal: They're all gone.
Professor: No, just hiding. A sound decision.
Lieutenant: It's over. I can't see any of you.
Lieutenant: Now they're just showing off. Sending in the big guns.
Corporal: This is the end.
Lieutenant: We're out of here.
Corporal: But...
Lieutenant: We need to find our allies. They should be alive. Come on!
Corporal: This is impossible...
Corporal: They've got so many arms and legs, and they can use several weapons at once.
Corporal: Us humans got two arms and two legs. We can't even compete.
Lieutenant: We have defeated them before. There's a way to fight them.
Lieutenant: Listen up. Their shields are not invincible.
Lieutenant: Their shields weaken with every hit and will eventually be depleted. A depleted shield turns black and can't be moved. It does reboot in time so use that window to attack.
Lieutenant: Attack the shield until it turns black, then aim at the Kruul's body.
Lieutenant: Don't keep shooting the same spot. If the shield turns black target something else.
Professor: Sounds like a solid plan.
Lieutenant: Time to do this and go home. We leave no one behind.
Corporal: Roger. This is my fault after all.
(Engage the Elder Kruul)
Lieutenant: Stay alert! They've got two shields!
Corporal: Two shields means they can withstand any attack! Sounds impossible!
Lieutenant: Kruul elites, huh?
Professor: They must possess a weakness.
Professor: They may hold two shields, but that does not make them all powerful. Two shields must mean they have limits.
Professor: The shields have their own limited range of protection. That's got to be it.
Professor: I see it now. The shields are protecting the left and right sides respectively. Focus attacking the left or right.
(The nth wave of ① allies appears)
Soldier: Hey! Anyone here?!
(Approach the ① allies)
Soldier: I'm still breathing! Save me!
(Approach the ① allies)
Soldier: Over here! I'm right here!
(Join the ① allies)
Soldier: Let's go home. Back to the underground.
Soldier: I saw an elite Kruul. They've got two shields.
(The nth wave of ② ally appears)
Soldier: I can't afford to die here. Not today!
(Approach the ② ally)
Soldier: I'm so done for. Anyone out there!
(Approach the ② ally)
Soldier: Friendlies! I'm saved!
(Join the ② ally)
Soldier: I don't wanna spend another minute on the surface.
(The nth wave of ③ ally appears)
Soldier: There are enemies all around! Not looking too hot!
(Approach the ③ ally)
Soldier: Crap! If only I could use radio. I'm here! I'm over here!
(Approach the ③ ally)
Soldier: Hey! This way!
(Join the ③ ally)
Soldier: Come on, slowpoke. You're gonna get left behind.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Soldier: We did it! We beat them!
Soldier: This means we can go home!
Soldier: I'm never coming back to the surface ever again!
Lieutenant: Let's not waste any time getting back to the underground.
Professor: It's time. We'll use Tunnel 1 to get right under the Ring and attack.

45 Tunnel #1
Mission Text
We're recreating that accident, which means we need to be in the same place at the same time. We're heading right under the Ring.
The surface is treacherous, though. We'll approach the Ring via underground passages. Our investigations show that the tunnels are linked to holes dug by the monsters. We should be able to come up near the Ring if we make use of those.
Mission Start
Lieutenant: But anyone who gets near the Ring dies. Isn't there some other way?
Professor: We can approach the Ring from underground. As long as we have backup, we should be fine.
Lieutenant: Fine. But we can't follow you up to the surface.
Professor: That's fine.
Lieutenant: The underground isn't safe anymore, either. Be ready.
Lieutenant: This way won't be easy. Looks like there's a monster nest at the end of the tunnel.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Look!
Lieutenant: A monster's snuck in!
Soldier: If even the underground's this bad, there's no way we can surface!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: To think I'd see monsters here...
Professor: It would've been trouble if it made it into the city.
Lieutenant: I'm just glad we exterminated it before it came to that.
Lieutenant: Alright, let's move it on up.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Soldier: A monster!
Soldier: It came in through the hole.
Lieutenant: Fire!
Lieutenant: There are more monsters than I thought. If they've made it all the way here, we'll have to exterminate them.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: We'll move toward the target while exterminating the hostiles.
Lieutenant: This hole. Is this it?
Soldier: It's not one of our tunnels.
Professor: It was dug by the monsters and connects to the tunnel. It leads up to the surface.
Lieutenant: How is it you know that?
Professor: I've looked into it before. Two troops died on that mission.
Lieutenant: The monsters' nest is up ahead. Stay on your toes.
Professor: We eliminated all hostiles during our investigation. I hope it's the same this time.
Lieutenant: What's with this place?
Soldier: Did those monsters make this cave?
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Watch out! Above us!
Soldier: They're coming through a hole up above!
Lieutenant: They're above us!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: We all good? Let's move.
Soldier: It's too dangerous. Let's get outta here.
(The 6th wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Monster confirmed!
(The 7th wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: We're going the right way, right?
Professor: Yeah, I think so.
Soldier: Attacking the Ring sounds crazy. The minute you step outside you'll be swarmed.
Professor: All we need to do is get close to it. I'll do the rest.
Soldier: It's your life on the line.
Lieutenant: We shouldn't stop. Let's move.
Soldier: It's another cave.
Lieutenant: Look for an exit.
(The 8th wave of enemies appears)
(The 9th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: They're behind us!
Soldier: Enemies from the hole behind us!
Lieutenant: Watch your six! Behind you!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: On the move. Don't get separated.
(The 10th wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Another one!
Lieutenant: Monster alert!
Captain: To all survivors. We are attacking the Ring today. Those who can fight, please join our operation.
Captain: I repeat. Those who can fight, please join our operation.
Soldier: You mean there are other survivors?
Lieutenant: I thought we were the only survivors in the area.
Soldier: Attacking the Ring? That's nuts.
Lieutenant: I'll join the operation, but it's too reckless. There's no way it'll succeed.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Professor: Today is the day. I'm sure of it.
Professor: We must get to the Ring.
Lieutenant: The lot of you are too impulsive. Does your life mean nothing to you?
Professor: It has to be done.
(The 11th wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Androids! Watch out!
Lieutenant: Dammit! Destroy them!
(The 12th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: More of them!
Lieutenant: They're searching our secret hideout! Destroy them!
Soldier: They've even sent these things down for us!
Soldier: Why would they chase us underground?! Damn stalkers!
Lieutenant: Destroy them if you want to live!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: I can't believe this many Androids made it underground...
Lieutenant: They hunt us relentlessly. What on Earth is driving them to kill humans like this?
Soldier: Why are they out to kill us? What have we ever done to them? Just leave us alone already!
Soldier: They must really hate us humans.
Lieutenant: There's no point sticking around. Forward march.
(The 13th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: I'm glad they were regular Androids. The high-speed models would have wiped us out.
Soldier: High-speed Androids? I've heard the rumors.
Professor: Right here! This is our target!
Professor: We can resurface from here.
Professor: Destroying the time machine while it was in operation has caused time to be rewound, and we're the only ones with our memories intact.
Professor: I think it was nothing more than a chance malfunction. It won't be happening a second time, but we can recreate the first time if we're in the same place at the same moment. The same chance malfunction will take place, because that's how it's set up to happen.
Professor: Sorry. I must have explained this time and time again.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Lieutenant: Seems we clean up pretty well.
Professor: All right. You're on your own from here.
Lieutenant: Sure you won't reconsider this plan?
Professor: I'll be back. Thank you, Lieutenant.

To all survivors. We are attacking the Ring today. Those who can fight, please join our operation.
Mission Start
Captain: Guess this is all humanity's got. But we won't stop.
Captain: Those Primers don't think humanity will fight back again.
Captain: Think of this as our last chance. Humanity's final counterattack.
Professor: So you survived. You just don't give up.
Professor: But today is the day. Time to destroy that device.
(Join the Captain's Team)
Captain: Looks like you heard my call. Let's show them how stubborn humanity can be.
Captain: The Ring's protected by Kruul. Take them out as you advance.
Professor: You can't see it from here, but there's a glowing red device directly under the Ring.
Professor: Head to the spot under the Ring.
(The 2nd wave of enemies and the 2nd wave of allies appear)
Soldier: Look out! That pylon's coming down!
Soldier: Their ship's over there! It's trying to land!
Soldier: We gotta destroy that huge teleporter! Otherwise it'll keep bringing in enemies!
Soldier: They're coming down! It's Kruul!
Captain: I'll kick their asses, demon gods or not! Bring it!
Lieutenant: Shit! So many idiots. It's like they're trying to get killed.
Lieutenant: Divert their attention! That's all we need to do!
Lieutenant: I'm here for backup. Don't let your life go to waste.
Lieutenant: Don't get any closer! All we gotta do is keep them in check!
(Join the Lieutenant's Team)
Lieutenant: Shit! I don't know how I ended up like this.
(The Ring's gate opens)
Captain: What is that?!
Lieutenant: The Ring's shining!
Captain: They're up to something!
(The Large Spaceships disappear)
Lieutenant: The ship disappeared!
Captain: It's some sort of stupid trick! Don't be afraid!
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Another pylon's coming down!
Soldier: A ship's arrived, too! With Kruul onboard!
Soldier: They're swarming like a beehive! There's no time for the Ring!
Lieutenant: Kruul are tough! Don't slip up!
Lieutenant: Kruul are vulnerable to concentrated fire! Everybody focus on one of them!
Professor: Get in right under the ring. Attack the glowing red device.
Professor: The red device. Aim for that red device.
(Damage to the Ring device)
Professor: You hit the mark.
(In the HARDEST and above difficulty level, the 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Enemy ships are coming down!
Soldier: Over here, too!
Captain: They're panicking! We're scaring them!
Soldier: What happened? This is weird.
(Damage to the Ring device)
Professor: Nothing has changed. Keep going.
Professor: If we simultaneously destroy the device, we should be able to recreate the accident.
Professor: If we simultaneously destroy the device, we should be able to recreate the accident.
Professor: We went back in time because of the accident caused by the time machine running amok. This moment, right now, is our only chance to recreate it.
(Destroy the Ring device)
Captain: What the hell is that!
Soldier: What's going on? Something's not right!
Lieutenant: The enemy's trying to do something! Get away!
Captain: We're in danger here! Run!
We go back in time,
and the accident reoccurs.
Time does not move forward.

Five months have already passed since the aliens first appeared. Though we've put up a good fight, we've been forced into a difficult situation now. So long as we don't have a way to destroy that massive disc, we just have to find a way to survive.
This giant saucer keeps sending monsters down like they own the place, and we just keep getting whittled down. It's only a matter of time before our forces are exhausted at this rate. That said, all we can do is exterminate them. If only we had a way to shatter that disc...

Mission Text
Congratulations! You are enrolled.
Five months have passed since the alien invasion.
We fought hard, but as long as the large flying saucers remain out there, our days of hardship will not be over.
Those large flying saucers continue dropping monsters without mercy, and we are having a war of attrition. At this rate, it's only a matter of time till we exhaust all our resources.
Nevertheless, extinguishing monsters is our only choice.
If only we could find a way to destroy the large flying saucers...

Mission Start
Sergeant: Bonds built on the battlefield. Nothing can break them.
Sergeant's Sub B: Pretty dignified for someone who just joined the team.
Sergeant's Sub A: Looks like we've got another solid ally.
Sergeant's Sub C: Make sure they don't get me.
Sergeant's Sub C: After five months of war, the situation has only gotten worse!
Sergeant's Sub B: That's because we put all our hopes on the air force!
Headquarters: How are the new types doing?
Major: They were all destroyed.
Headquarters: Isn't there a way to shoot down the teleportation ships?
Major: There's only one successful case so far, and that was with the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
Headquarters: I see.
Major: But we can't take that approach. The majority of our military bases have already been destroyed. We've lost the capacity to launch a nuclear strike. The enemy seems to know the locations of our nuclear arsenal.
Headquarters: You mean they've gotten their hands on top secret information?!
Major: They must have detection technology beyond anything we know. That's the only explanation I can think of.
Headquarters: A radar that can detect facilities underground, maybe? If so, we've already lost the war.
Sergeant's Sub A: As long as the teleportation ships exist, the war situation won't change.
Sergeant's Sub B: They keep coming, one after the other! The fight will never end!
Major: In these five months humanity has lost 40% of its population. Our social systems are collapsing.
Headquarters: 40%. So it's just a matter of time here, too...
(If the Player is not approaching the Transportation Ships at this point)
Headquarters: So there's no way to beat them?
Major: Not necessarily. We just received a plan from the head of our Advanced Technologies Lab. They say it might be possible for infantry to destroy their Teleportation Ships with attacks from below.
Headquarters: What?!
Major: Aim for the hatch on the lower part.
Headquarters: How'd the Tech Lab figure that out?!
Major: I can't say it's been fully verified...but that's where we're at. It's worth a shot.
Headquarters: Directly under a Teleportation Ship... That's a dangerous place to be.
Sergeant: Got it. We'll do it.
Headquarters: Excuse me!?
Major: I already shared the information with the sergeant.
Headquarters: Blatant disregard of official protocols.
Sergeant: Leave it to us! We are going to destroy the teleportation ships from the ground!
Sergeant's Sub A: It's too dangerous!
Sergeant's Sub C: I can't believe we are going under the transportation ships!
Sergeant: We have been fighting monsters for the past five months. We have reached out limit. If we don't win today, mankind will lose!
Sergeant: The aliens plan to exterminate us with monsters, but I am going to put an end to it!
Sergeant: Shoot down the teleportation ships!
Sergeant's Sub B: Got it. It's all or nothing!
Sergeant's Sub A: Aye aye, sir!
Sergeant's Sub C: We are getting a medal of honor for this if this works out!
Soldier: Outpost Bases 26 and 48, destroyed.
Sergeant's Sub A: There is a red light inside the hatch.
Major: The red light might be the teleportation device.
Sergeant: Attack the shining part once the hatch opens.
(If the Player approaches the Transportation Ships quickly)
Sergeant's Sub B: Newbie! Where are you going?!
Sergeant's Sub A: Hey! Don't be so reckless!
Sergeant's Sub A: I'm heading under the Teleportation Ship!
Sergeant: What're you doing, rookie?!
Sergeant's Sub B: You'll be dead if someone doesn't step into help!
Sergeant: The rookie needs backup!
(Damage to the Transportation Ship, If the Player approaches slowly)
Sergeant's Sub A: Look! The Teleportation Ship took damage!
Sergeant's Sub B: The rookie did it!
(Damage to the Transportation Ship, If the Player approaches quickly)
Sergeant: So we can bring down Teleportation Ships if we shoot them from below?
Sergeant's Sub A: How the hell did the newbie know that?!
Sergeant: Great! Direct hit!
Sergeant's Sub A: The attacks are working! This strategy is effective.
(Destroy the Transportation Ship)
Sergeant's Sub B: The Teleportation Ship is really coming down!
Sergeant's Sub A: Now humanity can win!
Sergeant: Support the rookie! Destroy all remaining enemy ships!
Major: Amazing job. Well done. This vital information will bring us closer to victory. I am sending it to the whole world now.
(Destroy the Transportation Ship)
Sergeant's Sub B: Amazing! That's two down!
Sergeant: Originally, the area under the Teleportation Ships was protected by those monsters. I didn't think it was possible to carve a path through them on the ground.
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Sergeant's Sub C: Look! Something's coming!
Sergeant's Sub A: What is that?!
Sergeant's Sub B: I've never seen something like that.
Sergeant's Sub A: Looks like someone knows how to fight.
Sergeant's Sub B: That's what I call beginner's luck.
Sergeant's Sub C: Whatever! Just provide backup!
Sergeant's Sub B: Follow the rookie!
(Destroy all the Transportation Ships)
Sergeant's Sub B: There goes another one!
Sergeant's Sub A: Seems like that kid has done this before if you ask me.
Sergeant: Exterminate all monsters!
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Sergeant: Amazing skills. Where'd you learn that?
Major: This is valuable data. Excellent performance.
Major: I'll be assigning one of my men to you from now on. I'm sure it will help.

14 Extermination
Mission Text
Monsters invaded the city out of the blue. We're caught off guard and we failed to evacuate all citizens. Please head to the site to support the extermination team. Since we haven't found large flying saucers, we have no clue how those monsters got into the city. Make sure you act with caution.

Mission Start
Headquarters: Protect the civilians!
Leader(W): Exterminate the monsters!
Leader(W): Newbie! Time to show your courage!
Soldier(W): These are species α monsters. They're no match for us.
Professor: It worked. We've gone back in time, and we still have our memories.
Professor: We're mostly on the same timeline as before, but there seem to be slight differences. Be careful.
Professor: Let's meet at the usual spot. Don't die on me.
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): It seems that evacuation hasn't completed yet!
Leader(W): This is a residential area! If we don't exterminate the monsters immediately, there will be casualties!
Leader(W): Newbie! Stay close!
(Engage the 2nd wave of enemies)
Soldier(W): The monsters have been confirmed to be species β, they are tricky monsters that can shoot threads.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Leader(W): OK, let's go! Exterminate all monsters!
Soldier(W): Those civilians are trying to escape!
Leader(W): Protect the civilians!
Major: Reporting the elimination of a Teleportation Ship.
Major: Another Teleportation Ship shot down over London. We need to take down as many enemy ships as we can to regain control of this war.
Chief Commander: Attention, everyone. This is the Chief Commander. We discovered an overwhelming gigantic ship among the flying objects. The pylons crashing from the skies are also launched by this ship. This type of ship is now designated as 'Mothership'. Taking down the mothership will be our ultimate goal.
Professor: I've even memorized the speech at this point.
Sergeant's Sub B: He is talking about that massive thing, right?
Sergeant's Sub C: So, if we destroy that thing, the aliens will be doomed.
Sergeant: Now that we found the enemy's mothership, all we have to do is shoot it down. I like our chances.
Chief Commander: Furthermore, we've identified a total of 10 Motherships. They are scattered around the world and are continuously launching pylons. We must take down all 10 of them.
Sergeant's Sub B: There are 10 of those?!
Sergeant's Sub A: I don't think the air force is capable of taking down 10 of them...
(The nth wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): Monsters are coming from underground!
Soldier(W): Seems like they dug holes and are hiding underground.
Soldier(W): Can't believe they are hiding down there!
Leader(W): Calm down! Kill them all!
(Eliminate the nth wave of enemies)
Leader(W): For a new recruit, you handle yourself pretty good.
(The nth wave of enemies appears)
Leader(W): Monsters! Exterminate them!
(The nth wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): Monsters sighted!
(Engage the 3rd wave of enemies)
Soldier: It's a Mother Monster!
Leader(W): There's a Mother Monster!
(Eliminate the 3rd wave of enemies)
Soldier(W): Incredible. Are you really a newbie?
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): There're a few monsters remaining.
Leader(W): We wiped out most of the monsters. Only a few remain.
Soldier(W): Civilians are coming our way!
Professor: Let's meet at the usual spot. Don't die on me.
Soldier(W): Easy victory!
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): Monsters are coming from underground!
Headquarters: Did the monsters dig an underground tunnel?
Soldier(W): We've got a Mother Monster! This is gonna be tough!
Major: Huge flying crafts were sighted. The first like them ever observed.
Headquarters: Ships we don't have data on... Must be a new enemy strategy. What scale are we talking?
Major: More than a hundred ships.
Headquarters: That many? I don't think we can withstand that.
Major: Currently collecting data on enemy ships.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Soldier(W): Looks like I was saved by the newbie.
Soldier(W): You're amazing! Do you want to join our team officially?

49 Aranea's Mountain
Mission Text
We've detected a thread-spitting monster that we have named Aranea. Though similar to the Betas, it seems capable of spreading its threads into a net to capture prey.
Aranea have attacked a mountain village, and the lives of many residents who were late to evacuate have been lost. We've also lost contact with the team sent to eradicate them. Head there at once.
Mission Start
Leader: The distress signal is coming from around here.
Soldier: Hurry!
Headquarters: There's a monster around here that spindles thread. Be on your guard.
Soldier: What the hell is that?!
Leader: What a creepy looking net. Did a monster make that?
Leader: There must be a nest nearby.
Soldier: Look! A friendly is caught up in it!
Leader: We'll rescue them! Take down the net!
(Destroy the Net in which ally ① is captured)
Headquarters: There should be other survivors. Keep looking!
Headquarters: There are eight members from the missing team. Find them.
Major: The Aranea are monsters that make nets. They often catch prey and string them up in their lair.
Major: If we destroy the nets, we can save those who were captured.
Major: If you are caught by threads, defeating the Aranea sets you free.
Major's Sub: You can still attack even if you are caught in its net. Keep firing and don't give up.
Major: The Aranea spin nets to capture their prey. They're only active in tight spaces and relatively don't cause much damage. However, their threads are stronger than the Beta subspecies. Countless soldiers have lost their lives fighting these damn things.
(Join the ① ally)
Leader: Thanks for saving me!
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Monsters!
Leader: So this net belongs to that ugly thing? Exterminate it!
(The nth wave of ② ally appears)
Leader: Watch yourself! It's coming your way!
Headquarters: A monster's den. We'll destroy it and save all those captured.
(Join the ② ally)
Leader: I'll join the fight. Please, just save my friend.
(The nth wave of ③ ally appears)
Leader: Over here! Save me!
Leader: Shoot the net!
(Join the ③ ally)
Leader: Please...find my friend. I know he's still alive.
(The nth wave of ④ ally appears)
Leader: There's the monster! Watch out for its thread!
(Join the ④ ally)
Leader: I can still fight. Let's eliminate those bastards.
(The nth wave of ⑤ ally appears)
Leader: This way! Right here!
(Join the ⑤ ally)
Leader: There should be others. We're counting on you.
(The nth wave of ⑥ ally appears)
Leader: I'm hurt! I need help!
(Join the ⑥ ally)
Leader: That was close. I owe ya one.
(The nth wave of ⑦ ally appears)
Leader: Help has arrived?! C'mon, this way! Hurry!
(Join the ⑦ ally)
Leader: I was about to give up. Thank you.
(The nth wave of ⑧ ally appears)
Leader: My armor's starting to melt! Hurry! Please!
(Join the ⑧ ally)
Leader: I know my friend's alive. Let's get him back.
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Gamma type monsters! Rollers!
Soldier: Rollers are springing up from the ground!
Headquarters: Gamma-type incoming!
Soldier: Sounds like the head of the tech research division is pumping out one ridiculous weapon after the next.
Soldier: I've heard the rumors that we've got a real prodigy on our side. It's reassuring to know that.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Gammas have emerged from the ground!
Headquarters: So they were still in the ground. Watch out for Gammas.
(Engage the Flying Types)
Soldier: Found the nest!
Soldier: These monsters may not be big, but they sure have numbers!
Leader: A flyer's nest is too dangerous to keep around. Take it out.
(Destroy the Small Hive)
Major's Sub: Destroy the flyers' nest.
(Destroy the Small Hive)
Major's Sub: Nest destroyed.
(Destroy all the Small Hives)
Major's Sub: Nest eliminated.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
