111 The Next Day III
Mission Text
You'd better stay sharp. We're the only ones defending this town. I don't care what happens...we're surviving this.
Mission Start
Professor: I went through the data from headquarters and made an amazing discovery just before the lab was destroyed.
Professor: We found a certain bacteria on a Kruul's body. It's the same one as found on Martian rocks.
Lieutenant: And what of it?
Professor: Well, it indicates a certain fact. That the Primer civilization comes from Mars.
Professor: They aren't demons or anything of the sort. They're martians.
Corporal: Who cares about that. We'll starve if we don't procure more rations.
(Alert activation)
Soldier: There they are!
Lieutenant: Let's go!
Lieutenant: Ready arms.
Corporal: Roger that!
Lieutenant: Do not forget how many lives are in our hands. There are 100 civilians down below. We can't fail!
(The 1st wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Dammit! They're here!
Soldier: They finally decided to make an appearance.
Lieutenant: They can't enter underground. Most likely other beings.
Soldier: Monsters!
Soldier: A monster's made its way in!
Soldier: Another one's in!
Soldier: I've fought about a dozen of these things, but they are creepier underground.
Lieutenant: It's better than facing the alternative. Make quick work of it!
(The 2nd wave of enemies and the 2nd wave of ally appear)
Soldier: There are some here!
Lieutenant: Let's go!
Professor: History hasn't changed. I guess this means there's no way to figure out when the timeline was altered, or how.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: I can't believe they've reached us all the way here.
Soldier: This is our turf!
Soldier: Sheesh! They really are formidable.
Lieutenant: Do as we do! Exterminate them asap!
(The 3rd wave of enemies and the 3rd wave of ally appear)
Soldier: Over here! This way!
Soldier: Dammit! There's still some left!
Soldier: This place isn't safe anymore.
Lieutenant: Still, it's better than the surface.
Soldier: Sometimes I can't tell which is worse, the surface or the underground.
Soldier: Being under the sky? No thanks.
Soldier: I hate the surface. I don't even wanna look at the sky.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Over there!
Lieutenant: If they get to the settlement it's all over! Stop those things!
Soldier: Stupid monster! You won't get away with this!
Soldier: We're happy in our underground settlement. You can't have it!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: This isn't the first time a monster's gotten in, but these numbers mean trouble.
Soldier: You mean there's more?
Lieutenant: I suspect so. Find all of them and exterminate 'em.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
(Join the Lieutenant's Team)
Lieutenant: Lead the way. We're counting on you.
Soldier: Have you seen anything like them before?
Soldier: Yeah, but just the thought sends shivers down my spine. I will never go to the surface.
Soldier: I suppose they are now the overlords of Earth.
Soldier: I would have never believed that the Kraken would rule the world 3 years ago.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Enemy sighted!
Soldier: Where in the world are they coming from?
Soldier: This is our home! Leave at once!
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: Did we do it?
Soldier: Nice!
(The 6th wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: No, not yet!
Soldier: It's a digging bot!
Soldier: What the hell is it doing here?!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: So they've found their way underground. Truly merciless...
Soldier: They don't plan on letting a single one of us live.
Lieutenant: Find any remnant enemies.
(The 7th wave of enemies appears)
Professor: Time's running out. We have to go to the surface and search for the Ring.
Professor: The time slip is nothing but a mere coincidence. I cannot guarantee it will work. But if we follow the same steps at the same time...
(Approach the wet area)
Soldier: It's a cave. I can smell water.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: There are some here, too!
Soldier: Where are they coming from?
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: That's a wrap. We can finally take a breather.
Soldier: But where are these enemies coming from anyway?
Soldier: There's nothing here. Maybe it's over there?
Soldier: Is this the remains of an old water pipe?
(The 8th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Look over there! They're coming in!
Soldier: So that's their secret entrance!
Soldier: It's a massive horde!
Soldier: There's no end of them!
Soldier: This place is done for!
Lieutenant: We can't let them get past us. Shoot!
Lieutenant: Stop them! There are 100 civilians behind us!
Soldier: The robots are using water pipes like a subway!
Lieutenant: That isn't good. There are water pipes scattered all over the city.
Soldier: They can go wherever they want!
Soldier: This is a manmade facility. Be sure to pay your dues!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: A bot has discovered this place. They'll be sending their big guns here.
Soldier: Why do they want to kill us so bad?
Soldier: They may already be digging a hole from above.
Lieutenant: They won't go down that easily.
(The 9th wave of enemies appears)
Professor: We've rewound time again and again. We've relived tragic moments again and again...seen more slaughter than any man ought to. I've had enough of this. I don't think my heart or my mind can take it much longer.
Professor: But even so... It may be the case that humanity can only survive within this rewound time at this point. No matter how many times they're killed, I suppose it's better than disappearing for good.
Professor: That said, I can't keep doing this. I've seen my wife die so many times now.
Professor: I know. The EDF can't show vulnerability to its enemies, right?
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Androids!
Soldier: So they've found their way underground.
Soldier: Did they dig this hole?
Soldier: This is our home. And you're not welcome here!
Soldier: You can have the surface, but underground is ours!
Soldier: Trespasser! Go back to the surface!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: What is this hole? Is it something they dug?
(The 10th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Look! Monsters are coming down hard!
Soldier: It's no time to sing hallelujah, it's raining monsters!
Soldier: Stand in line! There are too many of you!
Soldier: Oh no! They are so many of them!
Soldier: It's because they found us! They must know more people are in the area!
Lieutenant: We'll just have to exterminate them. Every last one!
Soldier: Look at this hole. The underground city is not safe anymore.
Professor: It's an underground facility that was in construction. It's now become a breeding ground for monsters.
Soldier: Wanna bet whether we run outta food first or they get to us first?
Lieutenant: They've got free access through here. That can't be good.
Soldier: Why would they do something like this?
Professor: A part of their terraforming plans. Monsters have body fluids to neutralize any pollutants, so the monsters released underground are meant to pave the way.
Professor: But hold on. How can monsters purify the air? They shouldn't have such a function. Unless they were raised in such an environment...
Professor: Don't tell me...those monsters are originally from Earth?
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Corporal: We need rations. I'll head to the surface.
Lieutenant: Wait! You'll die if you go out there!
Corporal: I'll return safely, I promise.
Lieutenant: I gotta say, thing's ain't lookin' too bright.
Lieutenant: The surface belongs to the Kraken. You'd be dead on sight.
Lieutenant: They're watching us. If we peek out, they'll find us.

We can't just abandon them. We're going to rescue the corporal.
It's dangerous there on the surface. Find the corporal, then pull back immediately. Don't get distracted by food.
Mission Start
Lieutenant: Quiet. They'll find us.
Lieutenant: Do not flinch if you see them. Fear will lead to death.
Soldier: The Earth is controlled by the Kraken. We are only alive because it allows us to be.
Lieutenant: Calm down! Don't panic!
Lieutenant: We're under the sky. Stay on high alert.
Soldier: Know what I heard? Those who fought died in darkness.
Lieutenant: They have the ability to summon darkness. Don't lose your grip in the dark.
Soldier: The Kraken...
Soldier: The monster in the sky gives me the creeps.
Soldier: Look!
Corporal: Help!
(Krakens switch to attack mode)
Soldier: They're here!
Soldier: The Kraken! It's found us!
Soldier: So that's the Kraken. What a sight.
Lieutenant: Do not cower! Shoot, shoot, shoot!
Soldier: I can't land a single shot!
Soldier: They are stopping our bullets!
Soldier: They are blocking with their arms!
Soldier: They've got so many arms they can attack and defend at the same time!
Lieutenant: How wily of them. But they can't keep it up forever. Refocus your target and fire!
Soldier: They've got two shields. Just breaking one won't be enough!
Soldier: They've got too many damn arms! They can hold multiple shields and weapons!
Lieutenant: Those shields won't last forever. Shoot at 'em!
Lieutenant: We've got to hit their bodies!
Lieutenant: Hit the shields then aim for the body!
Soldier: They're coming from this way, too!
Soldier: Look out!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Incoming Kraken!
Soldier: Those bottom-feeding Krakens are here.
Soldier: I don't have a death wish. Let's return underground!
Lieutenant: That would lead them straight to us! If they find the underground city, it's game over!
Soldier: I shouldn't have come to the surface! I'm going back underground!
Lieutenant: They won't even let you run. It's do or die, team!
Lieutenant: If you want to go home, defeat the Kraken!
Soldier: I see big ones and small ones!
Lieutenant: The small ones are Dark Monsters. They become darkness upon death.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Lieutenant: You survived. Lady Luck must be on your side.
Professor: This is grand. Now we can look for the Ring on the surface. I have an idea where it may be. Give me a minute.
Soldier: Flying object detected.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Kraken! They're gathering here!
Soldier: The Kraken is here!
Lieutenant: Ball sacks!
Soldier: There's so many of them!
Lieutenant: We are being completely surrounded!

Mission Text
They're coming. We should hide here.
...
Our allies have been scattered, but I'm sure they're still alive. If we don't go to rescue them, then...
We need to do some recon. You wait here.
Mission Start
Corporal: They're all gone.
Professor: No, just hiding. A sound decision.
Lieutenant: It's over. I can't see any of you.
Lieutenant: Now they're just showing off. Sending in the big guns.
Corporal: This is the end.
Lieutenant: We're out of here.
Corporal: But...
Lieutenant: We need to find our allies. They should be alive. Come on!
Corporal: This is impossible...
Corporal: They've got so many arms and legs, and they can use several weapons at once.
Corporal: Us humans got two arms and two legs. We can't even compete.
Lieutenant: We have defeated them before. There's a way to fight them.
(The 1st wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: Listen up. Their shields are not invincible.
Lieutenant: Their shields get smaller with every hit and will eventually be depleted. A depleted shield turns black and can't be moved. It does reboot so attack before it does.
Lieutenant: Attack the shield until it turns black, then aim at the Kraken's body.
Lieutenant: Don't keep shooting the same spot. If the shield changes color, shoot something else.
Professor: Sounds like a solid plan.
Lieutenant: Time to do this and go home. We leave no one behind.
Corporal: Roger. This is my fault after all.
(Battle begins, 1st time)
Lieutenant: Their weapons are dangerous! Just dodging is not enough! The bullets can change trajectories!
(Battle finish, 1st time)
Lieutenant: Can you see the size difference? The big ones are Krakens. The small ones are Dark Monsters.
Lieutenant: The Krakens are formidable, but the small monsters are also troublesome.
Lieutenant: If you kill a Dark Monster, their darkness spreads. The black fog doesn't cause damage, but will blind you. The fog spreads and dissipates in time, so you have to stay collected. Leave the darkness and regain your sight. Or wait it out.
(The nth wave of ① allies appears)
Soldier: Hey! Anyone here?!
(Approach the ① allies)
Soldier: I'm still breathing! Save me!
(Approach the ① allies)
Soldier: Over here! I'm right here!
(Join the ① allies)
Soldier: Let's go home. Back to the underground.
(The nth wave of ② ally appears)
Soldier: I can't afford to die here. Not today!
(Approach the ② ally)
Soldier: I'm so done for. Anyone out there!
(Approach the ② ally)
Soldier: Friendlies! I'm saved!
(Join the ② ally)
Soldier: I don't wanna spend another minute on the surface.
(The nth wave of ③ ally appears)
Soldier: There are enemies all around! Not looking too hot!
(Approach the ③ ally)
Soldier: Crap! If only I could use radio. I'm here! I'm over here!
(Approach the ③ ally)
Soldier: Hey! This way!
(Join the ③ ally)
Soldier: Come on, slowpoke. You're gonna get left behind.
(Battle begins, 2nd time)
Lieutenant: Don't relax even if you dodge! They can change targets midair!
(Battle finish, 2nd time)
Professor: They seem to be guarding the Ring. How terrible for us.
(Battle finish, 3rd time)
Professor: They're tightening up defenses. This is getting worse by the minute. It's never been this bad before...
Professor: We can't approach the Ring head on. Let's think of a different route.
(Battle finish, 4th time)
Professor: There's no way for us to know how the Primer have changed history, but we can hypothesize. They must have intervened somewhere in the past few days.
Professor: The only logical conclusion is that there are limits to how they can change history. Can they only interfere in a few years of history starting from the time that the Ring appears? Do they need the Ring to act as a front-line base in order to do it?
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Soldier: We did it! We beat them!
Soldier: This means we can go home!
Soldier: I'm never coming back to the surface ever again!
Lieutenant: Let's not waste any time getting back to the underground.
Professor: It's time. We'll use Tunnel 3 to get right under the Ring and attack.

Mission Text
We're recreating that accident, which means we need to be in the same place at the same time. We're heading right under the Ring.
The surface is treacherous, though. We'll approach the Ring via underground passages. Our investigations show that the tunnels are linked to holes dug by the monsters. We should be able to come up near the Ring if we just make use of those.
Mission Start
Lieutenant: But anyone who gets near the Ring dies. Isn't there some other way?
Professor: We can approach the Ring from underground. As long as we have backup, we should be fine.
Lieutenant: Fine. But we can't follow you up to the surface.
Professor: That's fine. I know you much better than you think.
Lieutenant: What?
Lieutenant: This way won't be easy. Looks like there's a monster nest at the end of the tunnel.
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Look!
Lieutenant: A monster's snuck in!
Soldier: If even the underground's this bad, there's no way we can surface!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: To think I'd see monsters here...
Professor: It would've been trouble if it made it into the city.
Lieutenant: I'm just glad we exterminated it before it came to that.
Lieutenant: Alright, let's move it on up.
Professor: No matter how long I live, my love for my wife continues to make me suffer.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: This hole. Is this it?
Soldier: It's not one of our tunnels.
Professor: The monsters dug a hole that leads to a tunnel. If the robots found this, they'd surely swarm inside.
Lieutenant: What's with this place?
Professor: Just in case you didn't know, they're coming from above.
Soldier: What's happening up there?
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Watch out! Above us!
Soldier: They're coming through a hole up above!
Soldier: It's the robots! They're here!
Soldier: I didn't expect to see robots here!
Soldier: If we let them get to the underground city, we're done for!
Lieutenant: Destroy the bots! Protect the civilians in the city!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: We all good? Let's move.
Soldier: It's too dangerous. Let's get outta here.
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Lieutenant: Monster alert!
Captain: To all survivors. We are attacking the Ring today. Those who can fight, please join our operation.
Captain: I repeat. Those who can fight, please join our operation.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: You mean there are other survivors?
Lieutenant: I thought we were the only survivors in the area.
Soldier: Attacking the Ring? That's nuts.
Lieutenant: I'll join the operation, but it's too reckless. There's no way it'll succeed.
(The 6th wave of enemies appears)
(Eliminate the enemies)
Professor: Today is the day. I'm sure of it.
Professor: We must get to the Ring.
Lieutenant: The lot of you are too impulsive. Does your life mean nothing to you?
Professor: It has to be done.
Lieutenant: Then there's nothing else to say. Let's do it.
(The 7th wave of enemies appears)
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier: It's another cave.
Lieutenant: Look for an exit.
(The 8th wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Soldier: Grenadiers! There are grenadiers here!
Lieutenant: Dammit! Destroy them!
Soldier: Why would they chase us underground?! Damn stalkers!
Lieutenant: Destroy them if you want to live!
(The 9th wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: Grenadiers incoming!
Soldier: It's a large group of grenadiers!
Soldier: Fire! Don't let them get close!
Lieutenant: Shoot them before they close the distance!
Lieutenant: They're coming from farther inside!
Lieutenant: Large Androids!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Lieutenant: We're going in further. Follow my lead.
(The 10th wave of enemies appears)
(Battle begins)
Lieutenant: Androids!
Soldier: Something big's there!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Professor: Right here! This is our target!
Professor: We can resurface from here.
(The 11th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Enemy attack! From above!
Soldier: It's a huge horde of monsters! Too many to count!
Lieutenant: Open fire! We have the tactical advantage from here!
Lieutenant: This must be the exit!
Soldier: Just you wait. There will be monsters galore right above us!
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Lieutenant: Seems we clean up pretty well.
Professor: All right. You're on your own from here.
Lieutenant: Sure you won't reconsider this plan?
Professor: I'll be back. Thank you so much, Lieutenant. For everything.

Mission Text
To all survivors. We are attacking the Ring today. Those who can fight, please join our operation.
Mission Start
Captain: Guess this is all humanity's got. But we won't stop.
Captain: Those Primers don't think humanity will fight back again.
Captain: Think of this as our last chance. Humanity's final counterattack.
Professor: So you survived. You just don't give up.
Professor: But today is the day. Time to destroy that device.
(Join the Captain's Team)
Captain: Looks like you heard my call. Let's show them how stubborn humanity can be.
Captain: The Ring's protected by Kraken. Take them out as you advance.
Professor: You can't see it from here, but there's a glowing red device directly under the Ring.
Professor: Head to the spot under the Ring.
(The 2nd wave of allies appears)
Lieutenant: Shit! So many idiots. It's like they're trying to get killed.
Lieutenant: Divert their attention! That's all we need to do!
Lieutenant: I'm here for backup. Don't let your life go to waste.
Lieutenant: Don't get any closer! All we gotta do is keep them in check!
(Join the Lieutenant's Team)
Lieutenant: The EDF doesn't abandon its allies. Not when they're in trouble.
(Approach the eggs)
Soldier: There's something round over there.
(Damage to the egg)
Captain: The eggs aren't what we're after. Ignore them!
Captain: The eggs won't do any harm if we don't shoot them. We'll deal with them after we take down the Ring.
(The nth wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Something's coming out of the ground!
Captain: Something was hidden in the ground?!
Soldier: Excavators!
Soldier: Killer robots incoming!
Soldier: This is more than we can handle!
Captain: There's nowhere to run! Fight! We have to fight our way out!
Soldier: Why are robots here?!
Soldier: They've ambushed us! These guys are clever!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Look! The Ring!
Soldier: Something's coming out!
Soldier: A hand! It just sprouted a hand!
Lieutenant: What IS that? The Ring's weapon or something?
Captain: Gross! Shoot it! Cut that thing off!
Soldier: They're coming in for the attack!
Soldier: That's a cannon?
Captain: Destroy that cannon!
Captain: We can't get close as long as that cannon is intact. Destroy it!
Professor: It's starting to dawn on them, little by little. That means we don't have much time. This might be our last chance.
(Destroy some Ring cannons)
Soldier: Did you see that?!
Soldier: We took out the cannon!
Soldier: But it's moving! We busted it, but the part that's left is still moving!
Lieutenant: What the hell's with this cannon?! It keeps shooting without the part we blasted off!
Captain: Then we know what to do! Destroy the whole thing!
(Destroy some Ring cannons)
Captain: Woohoo! We've got a real pro on our side!
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Lieutenant: It reappeared!
Captain: It restored the cannon! Destroy it again!
Lieutenant: What kind of weapon IS that?
(Destroy some Ring cannons)
Soldier: Destroyed another one!
(The nth wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: More Excavators!
Professor: This isn't a coincidence. They buried Excavators to wait for us in an ambush.
Captain: So they laid a trap to catch us. Clever trick.
(Damage to the Ring device)
Professor: You hit the mark.
Soldier: Lots of enemies are showing up!
Soldier: What the hell happened?!
Professor: Nothing has changed. Keep going.
Professor: If we simultaneously destroy the device, we should be able to recreate the accident.
Professor: If we simultaneously destroy the device, we should be able to recreate the accident.
Professor: The slippage is growing larger. I hope this works...
(Destroy the Ring device)
Captain: What the hell is that!
Soldier: What's going on? Something's not right!
Lieutenant: The enemy's trying to do something! Get away!
Captain: We're in danger here! Run!
Professor: We recreated it. Success.
We succeeded.
But there is no guarantee that it won't happen again.
Still...
There is hope.
Surely...

Mission Start
Senior Worker: You must be the newbie. Shall we start?
(If the Player is the Ranger)
Senior Worker: Our job today is to direct traffic. You see, today is open house, and we're expecting a lot of visitors. It's going to be a busy day.
Senior Worker: You might be familiar with directing traffic, but there are tanks and Powered Exoskeletons in the base, so you got to watch out.
Senior Worker: Now we're at the underground warehouse. This is the only place we can borrow. Let's start our basic training.
Left stick to move
Senior Worker: Nice.
Right stick to change direction
Senior Worker: Not bad.
Press L2 to jump
Senior Worker: You passed.
(If the Player is the Wing Diver)
Senior Worker: The base will open up to the public in the afternoon. Visitors will watch your flying show at the end of their tour.
Senior Worker: So that's the aerial unit? I wish I can fly too. Looking forward to your show.
Senior Worker: Let's check the procedures then.
Left stick to move
Senior Worker: Nice.
Right stick to change direction
Senior Worker: Impressive.
Press L2 to jump
Senior Worker: Well done.
Hold L2 to fly
Senior Worker: You passed.
(If the Player is the Air Raider)
Senior Worker: We're at the bottom of the EDF base. It's currently being used as a warehouse or a hangar. There're also some vehicles here for maintenance.
Senior Worker: I heard that you're a good mechanic. And you are also licensed to operate large vehicles, am I right? That's very impressive.
Left stick to move
Senior Worker: Nice.
Right stick to change direction
Senior Worker: Impressive.
Press L2 to jump
Senior Worker: You passed.
(If the Player is the Fencer)
Senior Worker: Our job today is to move cargos. We're going to move the cargos from the basement to the ground floor.
Senior Worker: What you're wearing is a powered exoskeleton. It has great strength, so you can move the cargos all by yourself.
Senior Worker: I heard it was developed for military use, and has the same power output as a tank.
Left stick to move
Senior Worker: Nice.
Right stick to change direction
Senior Worker: Well done.
Press × to jump
Senior Worker: You passed.
You have learned the basic controls.
Senior Worker: By the way, what is that weapon? Do we need it for our mission? It could be dangerous. Leave it.
Senior Worker: Let's get to work then.
Senior Worker: I'll show you the way. Follow me.
Senior Worker: A model gun? Why'd you bring that?
Senior Worker: Keep up. The bottom of the base is huge. It's easy to get lost.
Soldier: Monsters!
Soldier: Run! Run!
Senior Worker: Don't worry. It's fine.
(Power outage for a moment)
Senior Worker: Huh? What happened?
Senior Worker: The lights will return to normal soon.
Senior Worker: It seems like you don't mind much.
(The Player attacks the Senior Worker)
Senior Worker: Ahhh!
Senior Worker: Don't tell me this is real.
Senior Worker: That's dangerous.
Senior Worker: Think about it from my point of view. Some random person comes in and causes a stir with some weird weapon. What would you think?
(Arrive at destination)
Senior Worker: I'll open the door now.
(The 2nd wave of allies appears)
Senior Worker: Let's just get to work. I'll show you around. Follow me.
Senior Worker: This way. Watch out for incoming vehicles.
Senior Worker: A Powered exoskeleton hits like a truck. You don't want to get in their way.
Soldier: Answer me! What happened?
Soldier: He was eaten! George was eaten!
Senior Worker: Don't worry. Soldiers love making jokes like these.
Senior Worker: Watch out for the tanks. This is a vehicle-only lane. Don't get hit.
Senior Worker: Powered Exoskeletons are coming. Watch out.
(Power outage)
Senior Worker: Again?
Senior Worker: Something wrong with the circuit?
(Headlight on)
Senior Worker: Just switch on the light and it will be fine.
Senior Worker: You know how to work the lights, too, I see.
Senior Worker: This base is too large for humans. It looks like it is designed for military vehicles.
(Alert activation)
Professor: It worked. I remember everything.
Professor: These tragic memories keep piling up, one after the next, but I still push on. We're hitting them where it hurts. Isn't that right?
Soldier: Emergency alert. Emergency alert.
Soldier: This is not a drill. Repeat! This is not a drill.
Senior Worker: Maybe something did happen.
(If the Player go ahead of the Senior Worker)
Senior Worker: Where are you going?
Senior Worker: Were you listening to what I just said?
Senior Worker: Don't go on ahead like that! Wait up!
Senior Worker: Calm down! Listen to me!
(Arrive at destination)
Senior Worker: No need to be nervous.
Senior Worker: Behind the gate is...
(The 1st wave of enemies appears)
Senior Worker: Huh!?
Senior Worker: Wahhhh!!
Senior Worker: Hel--p!!!
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Senior Worker: You, there! Please...please help me!
Sgt's Subordinate B: They're fighting!
Sergeant: We need reinforcements! Now!
Sergeant: Fire! Fire!
Sgt's Subordinate B: It's too huge!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Die, you monster!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Sgt's Subordinate A: What the heck are these things?
Sgt's Subordinate B: I've never seen creatures like these before!
Sgt's Subordinate C: They aren't surviving dinosaurs, are they?
Sgt's Subordinate A: That was close.
Sgt's Subordinate B: Who is this?
Sergeant: Are you a civilian?
Sergeant: Why do you have a weapon?
Sgt's Subordinate B: Something's off about this one.
Sgt's Subordinate A: You fought that monster... Who are you?
Sergeant: Anyway, it isn't safe here. Let's go.
Sergeant: We're not sure what those monsters are. If it comes down to it, use that weapon to defend yourself.
Senior Worker: W-wait...
Senior Worker: The only thing I learned at my job is how to write daily reports and balance budgets. There's no way I can fight.
Sgt's Subordinate B: You call yourself a man?
Sgt's Subordinate A: Don't say that. He's just an event volunteer.
Sergeant: Come with me. It's not safe here.
Sergeant: Let's go. We need weapons.
Sergeant: What's going on? And what the hell are those monsters? How many are there?
(Heading to destination)
Sgt's Subordinate B: Hey! Wait!
Sergeant: Where are you going?! Don't go off on your own!
Sgt's Subordinate A: It's not safe. After them!
(Arrive at destination)
Sergeant: We have to go through here? What's the plan?
Sgt's Subordinate A: Can you open the shutters?
Sergeant: Yeah. I've got it.
(The 2nd wave of enemies and the 4th wave of allies appear)
Senior Worker: A monster!
Sgt's Subordinate B: How are there so many?!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Where did they all come from?!
Sergeant: These things are a threat. Shoot them!
Soldier: What the hell is going on?
Soldier: I've never seen anything like that before.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Sgt's Subordinate A: Did those things escape from the zoo? There were so many of them...
Sgt's Subordinate B: Then it must have been one massive zoo.
Sergeant: Come on. For now, we just need to get somewhere safe. We can solve this mystery later.
(Heading to destination)
Sgt's Subordinate B: What now?
Sgt's Subordinate A: Where are you going? It's too dangerous.
Sgt's Subordinate C: Again. Let's go after them.
(Arrive at destination)
Sgt's Subordinate C: It's a powered exoskeleton.
Sgt's Subordinate A: You knew about this place?
Sergeant: Looks like the equipment's ready. Let's go.
Sgt's Subordinate B: You came here knowing that they would work, didn't you?
Sgt's Subordinate A: Don't tell me you know how to work a powered exoskeleton.
Sgt's Subordinate B: Of course not. They're just a regular person.
Sgt's Subordinate C: Hey, this doesn't seem safe.
(Get on the Nix)
Sgt's Subordinate B: Are you serious?
Sgt's Subordinate A: You have a license for that thing?
(Arrive at destination)
Sergeant: I guess you're not a normal citizen after all.
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Sgt's Subordinate A: Monsters!
Sgt's Subordinate C: Their numbers are insane!
Sgt's Subordinate B: Some kind of incident must've occurred at the zoo. And the monsters they were keeping all got out!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Senior Worker: You saved us. You're a real hero.
Sergeant: You're not just a normal person. Who are you? How much do you know?
Sergeant: You... Do you know about us?
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Sgt's Subordinate B: There's more!
Sgt's Subordinate A: This was no zoo incident. We're being attacked!
Sergeant: There should be a hangar with exoskeletons up ahead.
Sergeant: Let's go. Follow me.
Sgt's Subordinate B: And who's going to control it?
Sgt's Subordinate A: The sergeant has a license.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Sergeant: This is it. I'm opening the gate now.
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
Sgt's Subordinate B: Wahhhh!!
Sgt's Subordinate C: Monsters!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Fire! Fire!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Monsters incoming!
Sgt's Subordinate C: Those creatures ate their way through the wall to get in.
Sgt's Subordinate A: The exoskeleton!
Sgt's Subordinate B: It's broken!
(Eliminate the enemies)
Sgt's Subordinate A: Looks like there's no functioning Powered Exoskeleton left.
Sgt's Subordinate B: They're all gone. We're screwed.
Sergeant: Shit! We need to head above ground.
Sgt's Subordinate A: If only we had more firepower...
Sgt's Subordinate B: But we have no clue where to find any weapons.
(Heading to destination)
Sergeant: We're going after them.
Sgt's Subordinate A: Looks like they're headed somewhere.
Sgt's Subordinate B: We don't know where they're going, but this is bad. There are monsters everywhere.
Sergeant: We can't just leave them like this. Let's watch their back.
(Arrive at destination)
Sergeant: I'm opening the door. Ready?
Sgt's Subordinate A: Wait. Gunfire.
Sergeant: Our comrades are fighting. Let's go.
(The 6th wave of enemies and the 5th wave allies appear)
Soldier: Damn you! Burn in hell!
Soldier: It's hopeless. Run!
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Soldier: There are monsters waltzing around inside the base? What kind of a joke is this?
Soldier: To think we'd be attacked from within the base... I need a situation report.
(Arrive at destination)
Sgt's Subordinate A: This must be our destination.
Sergeant: I'm opening it now.
(The gate opens)
Sgt's Subordinate B: What is that thing?
Sergeant: The Gigantic Unloader Barga. It's a mobile crane.
Sgt's Subordinate A: This must be what they were looking for.
Sgt's Subordinate C: Do we really need this thing?
Sergeant: It seems like it must be pretty important.
Sergeant: It should have a lift. Up we go.
Sgt's Subordinate A: We need a code to activate the lift, though...
Senior Worker: I know the code. I helped deliver vehicles here.
Sergeant: All right. You're the only one who knows the code. Get on the lift and take it up. The corporal will take care of you up there.
Sergeant: We'll take a different route to the surface while searching for survivors.

As for us, we need to rendezvous with the unit and handle the situation. This is where we say goodbye.
...Or so I'd like to say, but don't worry. We'll get you home safe first.

Mission Start
Sgt's Subordinate A: There's the exit!
Sergeant: W-What is going on!?
Sgt's Subordinate B: There are still that many?
Nix Crew: The armor is melting!?
Nix Crew: Wahhhh!!
Sgt's Subordinate B: Hey! Look at the sky!
Sgt's Subordinate A: I can't believe that!
Sgt's Subordinate C: There are flying saucers!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Do you mean UFOs? That's ridiculous!
Sgt's Subordinate B: Did they start shooting a movie in the base while we're gone?
Soldier: Die, you monster!
Soldier: They killed my comrade! Time for revenge!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Sergeant: Our troops are in combat. We should back them up, follow me!
Sgt's Subordinate A: There are monsters everywhere.
Sgt's Subordinate B: It was safer underground. We should've stayed down there.
Sgt's Subordinate C: It's much more dangerous on the surface!
Base 228 Commander: Crap. Can't believe that the Powered Exoskeleton can't be activated in such a crucial moment.
Soldier: Looks like the monster is spitting something!
Soldier: AHH! It's acid! It's bloody acid!
Soldier: Don't be afraid. Our combat suits are acid-resistant.
Soldier: Oh no! Wahh! H-help! Wah--!!
Nix Crew: This is Iota 3. Commencing initiation procedure.
Base 228 Commander: Infantries! Protect the Powered Exoskeleton!
Soldier: Sergeant! Glad to know you are fine!
Sergeant: Give me a sit-rep. Where is the Second Lieutenant?
Soldier: The lieutenant was killed in action. Eaten by a monster.
Sergeant: Damn!
(The 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Incoming monsters!
Base 228 Commander: All units, get in position!
Base 228 Commander: Anyone capable of moving must fight.
Base 228 Commander: Shoot them! Don't let the monsters get any closer!
Nix Crew: This is Iota 1. Activation sequence has reached final phase.
Base 228 Commander: Keep the monsters away from the Powered Exoskeletons!
Sergeant: There are too many enemies. Evacuate the civilians!
Soldier: They were evacuated. The corporal led them out.
Sgt's Subordinate B: Monsters plus UFOs. Crap! The most disgusting combo!
Commercial Broadcast Announcer: ...Is this true? What if we're wrong...
Commercial Broadcast Announcer: This is special newsflash. There... have been accounts of UFO sightings everywhere across the globe. And this time, the UFOs aren't just moving flash of light caught on camera. According to eyewitnesses, they saw flying objects made of metal. For now, the identity of these objects remains unclear. Since there are reports of sightings coming from everywhere, it is speculated that there are multiple UFOs flying in different areas.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Incoming monsters!
Soldier: There are so many!
Soldier: Look. There are some huge ones!
Soldier: They're so much bigger!
(The 2nd wave of allies appears)
Nix Crew: Iota 1 is activated. Powered Exoskeleton team, engage.
Nix Crew: This is Iota 2. Ready to fight some monsters!
(The 5th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Look at the sky!
Soldier: Something is falling!
Soldier: Retreat! Find cover!
Nix Crew: Wahhhhhhh!
Soldier: They're giant pylons!
Soldier: They looks mechanical.
Soldier: Monsters! They appear around the pylon!
Soldier: The monsters are increasing in number.
Soldier: The pylons seem to be a device for teleporting monsters. They keep coming, one after another!
Base 228 Commander: Attack the monsters!
Soldier: So the monsters are transported by that pylon?
Soldier: The pylon came from the sky! That means the monsters also came from the sky!
Base 228 Commander: We must destroy the pylons. Attack!
Sergeant: It's the device on the top part of the pylon that is calling in the monsters. We might be able to stop it if we attack.
Sergeant: Aim at the upper part of the pylons.
(Destroy the Teleportation Anchor)
Sgt's Subordinate B: You've done it this time!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Are you really a civilian?
(The 6th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Up there! Something's coming!
Soldier: From above!
(Destroy the Teleportation Anchor)
Sgt's Subordinate C: It was like they already knew how to destroy the pylons.
Sergeant: The top of the pylon is its weak spot. The upper part. Shoot the shining area!
(The 7th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: There's more of them!
Soldier: They're pylons! Pylons are coming down!
(Multiple Teleportation Anchors pass overhead)
Soldier: Look! Pylons!
Soldier: There are so many! Will they bring in more monsters?
Soldier: At this rate it'll become a monster nation!
(Two Teleportation Anchors remaining)
Sgt's Subordinate C: Woo! Nice!
Sgt's Subordinate B: Just look at 'em fight. Now that's an experienced hand. Looks like this isn't their first rodeo.
Sgt's Subordinate A: You're right. Do they already have intel on the enemy?
(One Teleportation Anchor remaining)
Sgt's Subordinate C: Again?!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Just who the hell is this person? How do they do it?
Sgt's Subordinate B: Whoever they are, I'm just glad they're on our side.
(Destroy all the Teleportation Anchors)
Base 228 Commander: Good job.
Sergeant: I want to know where the pylon is coming from.
Base 228 Commander: It seems that it was dropped from the giant flying saucer. We don't know any more details other than that,
Sergeant: A flying saucer!?
(The 8th wave of enemies appears)
Sgt's Subordinate C: Look up! Pylons!
Sgt's Subordinate B: They will crash down here
Soldier: What is this?! There's too many!
Soldier: Retreat! Retreat!
Sgt's Subordinate A: There's too many of them! This base won't make it!
Base 228 Commander: Abandon the base. Evacuate now.
Sergeant: We need to evacuate! Come with me! I'll take you to somewhere safe.
Soldier: You civilians shouldn't be here! Run!
Sgt's Subordinate A: Do they really mean to fight?
Sergeant: I can't just standby and watch others die. I'm going in.
Sgt's Subordinate B: What the hell are they thinking?
Senior Worker: Opening the hatch. The hatch will now open.
Senior Worker: Be careful. Back away from the hatch.
Senior Worker: Yes. By the book. Safety first.
(The 3rd wave of ally and the Barga appear)
Soldier: The lift is moving!
Sgt's Subordinate A: It's Barga!
Senior Worker: Aaahhh!
Senior Worker: What's going on?!
(Approach the Barga)
Sgt's Subordinate A: Does he really mean to pilot that thing?
Sergeant: To activate it, you need to enter a complex code.
(Join the Senior Worker)
Senior Worker: H-help me!
Sergeant: It's all right. We'll get you out.
(Get on the Barga!)
Left stick: Move
Right stick: Change direction
Upper body forward/backward
L1, R1 : Punch
L2, R2 : Stomp
The order in which L1 and R1 are pressed
changes the way the arms swing.
Sgt's Subordinate B: You got it to move!
Sgt's Subordinate C: How do you know the activation sequence?!
(Destroy some Teleportation Anchors)
Soldier: The civilians have not completely evacuated.
Soldier: Unacceptable. We need to rescue them.
(The 4th wave of allies appears)
(Destroy some Teleportation Anchors)
Soldier: The civilians are now in combat with the enemy.
Soldier: Excuse me?!
Soldier: They're destroying the weapons that the enemy sent down one after the other.
Soldier: I can't believe it. In any case, we need to help them.
(The 5th wave of allies appears)
(Destroy some Teleportation Anchors)
Soldier: Whoa! That enemy weapon just got destroyed!
Soldier: The citizens are fighting! They're defending the base!
Soldier: Back up the citizens!
Soldier: We can't hide behind civilians! Let's go!
(The 6th wave of allies appears)
Soldier: Follow his lead!
Soldier: We need to do our part, too.
Soldier: I don't even know what the hell these enemies are, but let's make them regret ever attacking this base!
Soldier: EDF! EDF!
Soldier: We're going in, too. Form up with those citizens.
(Destroy all the Teleportation Anchors)
Base 228 Commander: Take down all of the monsters. Spare no one.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Soldier: We defended the base!
Soldier: Woohoo!
Soldier: EDF! EDF!
Sgt's Subordinate B: You finally did it.
Sgt's Subordinate A: I can't believe how many of them you took down.
Sgt's Subordinate C: That soldier is amazing.
Sergeant: Right. That's no civilian. We should ask them what they know.
Senior Worker: Can I go home?
Sergeant: We'll take you somewhere safe. Don't worry.

19 Eradication Plan
Mission Text
Monsters are spotted in the city. Please eliminate them with the extermination squad.
Moreover, large scale attacks on mysterious monsters are taking place in the surrounding area, so you won't have sufficient backup. We expect much from the extermination squad.

Mission Start
Headquarters: Exterminate the monsters in this area. Commence operation.
Leader: Fear nothing, including those monster freaks!
Soldiers: Yes, sir!
Soldier: EDF! EDF!
(Join the Ranger team)
Leader: I've heard the rumors. I'm counting on you.
Headquarters: You really plan on using that thing?
Major: Preparations are complete. However...
Soldier: This is K Six. Operation failed. Target escaped. I repeat, operation failed. Target on the run.
Major: The attack on the monster called Erginus was a failure. This area is along its flight path.
Headquarters: I can't believe this is really happening.
Major: It seems the information is accurate. Which would mean...
(The 2nd wave of enemy appears)
Soldier: It's too big! It's unlike any other monster we've seen before!
Soldier: It's deceptively quick for its size!
Leader: Attack!
Headquarters: Citizens are in danger. You have to stall the enemy before the tanks arrive.
Headquarters: Attack Erginus.
Soldier: No way I'll miss the target!
Soldier: We'll take care of it!
(Damage to the Erginus)
Soldier: Our bullets are useless!
Soldier: It's too big!
(Damage to the Erginus)
Soldier: Our bullets are like tiny mosquito bites!
Soldier: It's too big! We can't kill it!
(Damage to the Erginus)
Headquarters: The tanks will arrive momentarily. Hang on.
(Damage to the Erginus)
Major: Currently in transit. We will arrive momentarily.
Headquarters: You're telling me we can use that thing? It's just a mobile crane.
(The 2nd wave of allies appears)
Blacker Crew: This is Bull Leader. Enemy confirmed.
Headquarters: Understood. Commence attack.
Headquarters: Support the infantry and protect the tanks.
Headquarters: The tanks just arrived. Infantry, fall back behind the tanks.
(Damage to the Erginus)
Headquarters: How could this creature sustain direct attacks from cannons? Is it invincible?
(Each Blacker is destroyed)
Soldier: Our tanks are under attack!
Headquarters: I can't believe that our attacks didn't work. Its vital force is uncanny!
Blacker Crew: This is Bull Leader. We suffer a great loss.
Soldier: The tank has been destroyed!
Soldier: Bastards! We lost the tank!
Blacker Crew: This is Bull Leader. Wahhhh!
(Losses to allies)
Headquarters: The creature's power is beyond our understanding. What a terrifying opponent.
(The Barga appears)
Major: The Gigantic Unloader Barga is ready for deployment.
Major: Deploying.
Major: Cleared to board.
(Get on the Barga)
Headquarters: Can you really work this thing?
Major: Erginus’ regenerative abilities are extraordinary— even explosives won't affect it. So we aim to pulverize it in one swoop by hitting it with a similarly massive object.
Major: We plan to use the Barga for the strike. We'll slam its arm into Erginus.
(The 3rd wave of allies appears)
Blacker Crew: This is Dover Leader. We have arrived on the scene.
Headquarters: Very well. Attack now.
Headquarters: Support the infantry and start individual attack on the enemy.
Headquarters: Dover Leader. The enemy is tough. Be careful.
Blacker Crew: This is Dover Leader, roger.
Headquarters: Tanks, cover the Barga.
(Each Blacker is destroyed)
Soldier: Bastards! It blasted the tank armor off like it was nothing!
Blacker Crew: This is Dover Leader, I'm hit! Save me--!
(If The Player gets on the Barga at least once, and destroy the Erginus)
Headquarters: Nice. Who would have thought that we could use a crane like this?!
Major: We have shown that it can be effective against monsters. We propose that we upgrade the Barga.
(Annihilate all the enemies)

119 Survey the Giant Cave
Mission Text
A giant cave has been discovered. It could be an opening to a nest of monsters.
The unit that discovered it has entered inside to survey the area. Rendezvous with them on-site and take part in the investigation.
Mission Start
Leader(W): We've spotted multiple flyers in the cave.
Soldier(W): Why would there be flyers here?
(Join the Wing Diver team)
Leader(W): If we follow those flyers, they may lead us to their cave. Track them.
Soldier(W): I heard that flyers hate enclosed spaces like this.
Soldier(W): As you may know, there's a dangerous creature called the human populating the outside. Perhaps the flyers are looking for a place safe to hide from us.
Leader(W): We haven't heard from Team 2. They took a different route to get in.
Leader(W): Team 3, here. Come in, Team 2.
(Battle begins)
Soldier(W): Flyers!
Leader(W): Flyers can move in the dark, too. Keep your guards up.
Soldier(W): We can't take advantage of the mobility of the Wing Divers in these caves. It's a field disadvantage.
Soldier(W): That applies to the enemy, too. The bigger they are, the more of a disadvantage they have.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Leader(W): There's something off about this cave. We need to keep investigating.
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): It's so dark in here. I'm getting freaked out.
Leader(W): Don't depend on your sight. Listen to the darkness.
(Approach the Small Hives)
Soldier(W): There's a huge, open space!
Soldier(W): There are flyers swooping around everywhere!
Leader(W): There are so many of them! They have a nest!
Leader(W): They're coming out of the nest! Exterminate them!
(In the HARDEST and above difficulty level, the 3rd wave of enemies appears)
Leader: Team 2, here. We're in too deep. Team 1 got wiped out.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Leader: We're engaging the flyers! Help us!
Leader(W): We'll be right there.
Leader(W): We don't have many troops, but we have someone we can depend on. Hang on.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier(W): This cave gives me the creeps.
Soldier(W): I can't believe it's this big.
(The 5th wave of enemies and the 2nd wave of allies appear)
Soldier(W): Another cavern!
Soldier(W): There's the team that got here before us!
Leader(W): Over there!
Leader(W): Team 2 needs reinforcements!
(Join the Ranger team)
Leader: There's no way we'll just run away. We need to find what caused this.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Leader: We can't just leave, now. We need to keep investigating.
(The 6th wave of enemies appears)
Leader(W): The flyers seem to be gathering in the open areas.
(Battle begins)
Leader(W): Monsters! Shoot them down!
(In the HARDEST and above difficulty level, the 7th wave of enemies appears)
Major: Evolved enemy ships detected. A lot of them.
Headquarters: More reinforcements? They've got far more resources than we imagined.
(Eliminate the enemies)
Soldier(W): Secure the surrounding area.
Leader(W): There seems to be a path toward the bottom of the cave. Let's go.
Leader: Down there. There's a path.
(The 8th wave of enemies appears)
(Approach the enemies)
Leader(W): Feel that? The air is vibrating!
Leader: I hear wings flapping and...something's rumbling. It's a huge horde of them!
(Approach the enemies)
Leader(W): A cavern!
Leader: What is this place?
(Approach the Hive)
Leader: There's a nest!
Leader(W): It's massive!
Soldier(W): There are small nests in the surrounding area. All over the place!
Leader: There are small nests in the surrounding area, too. I've never seen nesting grounds this large.
Leader(W): A flyer nest has been discovered in the caves.
Headquarters: I've seen the footage. But I can't believe a nest of that scale exists underground.
Leader: Commencing extermination!
Headquarters: Don't push it. Our mission is to collect information.
Leader: We need to avenge Team 1.
Leader: Let's do this!
(Battle begins)
Leader(W): Exterminate them!
Leader: Fire! Fire! Annihilate them!
Leader: Monsters are emerging from the nest!
Headquarters: When they get attacked, monsters will pour out of the nest all at once. To defend the nest.
Leader(W): A queen!
Leader: That thing's huge!
(The 9th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Monsters exiting the nest!
Leader: Look at the nest! More monsters!
Leader(W): It's not working! Let's fall back and regroup!
Leader: There's too many of them! Retreat! Retreat!
Headquarters: Get to the surface. We can't fight them with our current forces.
Headquarters: Abort mission. Prioritize the survival of all personnel.
Leader: Damn you, monsters! We'll be back!

Soldier: That's a huge fleet.
Leader: The enemy ships are trying to infest the town with monsters! Well, it's not gonna happen!
Leader: Time to do some extermination!
Soldier: Is this the 2nd troop of the Earth invasion forces?
Headquarters: Hostiles are raining down. Proceed with caution. Foot soldiers, don't stray too far from the tanks.
Soldier: Enemy ship on the way!
Soldier: They just don't stop coming.
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Enemy ship flying in!
Soldier: They activated their teleporter!
Soldier: What in the world are those?!
Soldier: They fly!
Maj's Subordinate: Those are flying organisms known as Haze!
Maj's Subordinate: Relocate immediately!
Maj's Subordinate: You lose visibility if you get too close, so maintain a safe distance.
(The 2nd wave of allies appears)
Headquarters: Team Delta is to the left. Link up with them.
Leader: Come on, this way!
Blacker Crew: Forget the tanks. Go!
Leader: Group up with Delta! Keep moving!
Soldier: They're tailing us!
Leader: We don't have the numbers for this! Keep them at bay but stay on the move!
Headquarters: Avoid fighting in small numbers. Regroup first, and then fight back.
Soldier: They're buzzing around like flies!
Soldier: I can't see! I don't know where to aim!
Soldier: This mist is one of their bodily fluids!
Soldier: Who turned off the lights?!
Leader: Don't stop to try and fight them properly. It's too risky! Delta's right there!
(If the 2nd wave of enemies is eliminated before the Player arrives at the Delta position)
Headquarters: Chop-chop. Group up with Delta.
(Approach the Delta position)
Leader: This way! Get a move on!
(Enter the Delta position)
Leader: They won't go down easy! Shoot them until there's nothing left to shoot!
(Join the Delta's Ranger team)
Leader: What a terrifying enemy. But we're going to survive, just you wait.
Leader: Charlie is straight ahead. Let's help them out.
(The 3rd wave of enemies and the 3rd wave of allies appear)
Soldier: Enemy ships!
Soldier: Flying creatures on their way!
Headquarters: Divided you're gonna get picked off one by one. Group up, then fend them off together with Charlie.
Leader: Charlie's just ahead. It's not safe but I'm heading over.
Leader: Dead ahead! Let's go!
Leader: On the move! Linking up with Charlie!
Blacker Crew: We'll bring up the rear.
Headquarters: Rendezvous with Charlie.
Soldier: There's no running away from these things!
Soldier: Well, we've gotta try! Hurry!
Leader: We're in over our heads! Grouping up with Charlie!
Headquarters: Take them on once you've grouped up. Fall back to Charlie's position.
(If the 3rd wave of enemies is eliminated before the Player arrives at the Charlie position)
Headquarters: Did you lose them? Good. Link up with Charlie.
(Approach the Charlie position)
Proteus Crew: This is the Proteus. It's prepped to go.
Leader: This way! Get a move on!
(Enter the Charlie position)
Leader: Here's where we make our stand!
Leader: We make our defenses impenetrable and we make it out alive. Are we clear?
Leader: It's the BMX10 Proteus. Humanity's trump card.
Soldier: This high-performance machine was made in cooperation with the Advanced Technologies Lab. We've only got a few of them.
(Join the Ranger team of 1st wave)
Leader: Grouping up with Charlie!
(Join the Charlie's Ranger team)
Leader: We're going home alive.
(The 4th wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: Enemy ship passing through!
