Mission Text
An enemy fleet is now gathering above the city. We believe they want to place down some Anchors.
Form an attack unit at once. Hide amongst the buildings as you approach the fleet while eliminating any ground-based enemy forces. Your highest-priority target should be the Anchors, followed by the aliens. There's no need to attack the enemy fleet.

Soldier(F): I didn't expect our plan to sneak up on them to work this well.
Leader(F): Approaching the enemy ships was a success.
Leader: So those are the flying aliens.
Soldier: They look horrific.
Soldier: They don't have any wings, but they're hovering.
Soldier: Do they have some sort of special device? How are they flying?
Leader(F): Destroy the aliens. Let's go.
Soldier: That thing's a freak. We can't go up against something like that.
Soldier: A demon. We're all gonna die.
Soldier: We should call in our air forces.
Leader(F): If we catch it off guard, we can defeat it. Come on!

Leader(F): Don't act alone. We fight together.
Soldier: The enemy ship has stopped above the city's airspace.
Soldier: Multiple aliens sighted.
Soldier: There are small ones, too!
Major: Be aware of the smaller flyers. When they are shot down, they emit a black mist.
Headquarters: Like a smoke screen.
Major: The mist will spread momentarily, but it will dissipate. Until then, watch your back.
Soldier: The enemy ship has deployed an anchor.
Headquarters: Attack team, destroy those anchors.
Soldier: The enemy ship released an anchor.
Headquarters: Enemies will teleport in any second now. Get ready.
(Battle begins)
Headquarters: Eliminate the aliens.
Headquarters: Don't shoot the enemy ships. Target the aliens.
Soldier: This alien has powerful weapons. It can fire beams for an extended period of time, and it changes its target after firing.
Headquarters: Don't take your eyes off the enemy's attacks. It's going to switch targets.
Soldier(F): They've got a shield! Our attacks aren't hitting!
Soldier(F): It's got two shields! Even if we stop one, the second one is blocking our attacks!
Leader(F): We need to stop both. Shoot those shields up!
Headquarters: According to our intel, shields wear out. They shrink when hit with attacks and eventually turn black. While a shield is black, it won't work. Shoot the enemy's main body before the shield goes back up.
Headquarters: When the shield turns black, change where you're aiming and hit the enemy's main body.
Headquarters: Don't just aim at the same spot. Once the shield is down, change where you're aiming.

Major: That shield appears to be exceptionally powerful.
Headquarters: What do you mean?
Major: The shield converts energy from the attacks it takes and fires it in the opposite direction.
Headquarters: In other words, it reflects our attacks back at us. What should we do?
Major: The shield can be overwhelmed. If it takes enough attacks, it will eventually shut down.
Headquarters: You're suggesting we keep firing at it, knowing that it will reflect our attacks?
Major: As of now, that is our only option.

Enemy drone unit has arrived. There are three drone units, one for each type, and they're flying through the city.
We'll have to stop their invasion, or else the entire area will be razed. Wait on the streets and take down each unit one by one.
A KG6 Kepler is there on the ground for you. Board it.

Staff Officer: I'm not getting any scientists. We're going to move the world, which means getting the people in it who have real power.

Our investigation of the cave we found earlier has concluded. We should be able to make it there safely now.
Enter inside the cave once more. This time, we're destroying that giant nest.
Attack Team 1, approach from the front of the nest. Attack Team 2, follow behind them. Attack Team 3 will be placed at the nest's rear passage.

Soldier: Nest confirmed. It's here, all right.
Leader: Good. This is our target destination.
Spriggan Leader: Disable stealth mode.
Sgt's Subordinate A: We made it in without being detected, thanks to our advance recon.
Sgt's Subordinate C: If we attack them, they'll swarm us. It'll end like it did last time.
Sergeant: That's right. Don't shoot at the huge nest in the center. We'll start by destroying the smaller nests in the periphery.
Sergeant: If we attack the huge nest first, they'll swarm us. Be careful.

Leader: We're back. Now you'll see what we can do.

Major: Like any monster, they require certain conditions to breed. If we can eradicate the enemy here, we may be able to stop the flyers from multiplying.
Major: We will call these creatures "the Haze" from now on.
Headquarters: We were lucky we were able to exterminate them before they finished breeding. Those smoke screens are a real pain.

Major: They have powers humanity hasn't discovered yet. Maybe that's how we should think about it. Some sort of energy that lets you fly without wings or propellers. Not "science" per se, but things like anti-gravity and psychokinesis...
Headquarters: That's ridiculous.
Major: It's the opinion of our researchers, but I don't believe in psychokinesis, either. No organism can possibly have powers like that.
Headquarters: So they're advanced lifeforms that can use psychokinesis? That's too crazy to be true. They must be using devices.
(Annihilate all the enemies)
Maj's Subordinate: The mission was a great success. We didn't just disturb their operations. The enemy suffered a significant loss this time.

Professor: This is only a guess, but if the Primer are capable of changing history, it's only a few years of the past, starting from the day the Ring arrives. There have to be rules to the way they change history, so that they avoid creating a time paradox. There must also be a meaning to them choosing this point in time. Surely there's some historical significance here... Some incident that sets off a chain of events. Changing history any earlier than that would cause a time paradox.

Enemy ships have been detected. They seem to be headed to the mountains in the outskirts, likely to build a teleportation site. We have to stop them before they start making full use of their teleporters. Any nearby units, head over there.

Leader: Anchors and teleportation ships. This is definitely a warp site for the enemy.
Leader: And we're gonna crush it.
Leader: They're bound to send a huge swarm if we don't destroy their warp site. Be ready to do whatever it takes to get rid of it.

Mission Text
An alien artillery unit is on the march, and they've got grenadiers behind them. They're headed for the city, and I imagine it'll be blown to bits if this unit gets to attack. We have to find a way to stop them... There's no time for fooling around, we'll meet them head-on with AFVs.
We expect there to be intense shelling in this battle. Come prepared with the right equipment.
Mission Start
Leader: Advance!
Soldier: Enemy artillery unit confirmed!
Soldier: The tanks and powered exoskeletons will form a line in battle. Ground troops, take cover behind them.
Leader: Prepare for battle!
Soldier: We're taking enemy fire!
Soldier: Incoming fire!
Blacker Crew: Don't push ahead, infantry. Shield yourselves behind the tanks.
Soldier: Enemy artillery incoming!
Soldier: It's the enemy's artillery unit!
Headquarters: Go for the artillery.

Soldier: Did you know that person has amazing luck too? We played cards but I was way out of my depth.

Headquarters: Eliminate the grenadiers and close in on the artillery.

Soldier: We have a company of enemy artillery units closing in.
Soldier: Enemy forces incoming!
Headquarters: Head toward the summit.
Headquarters: Gain control of the high ground.
Headquarters: Your mission is to eliminate the artillery. Destroy the whole unit.

Soldier: Enemy force approaching.
Soldier: They've got artillery.
Headquarters: Destroy them.
Headquarters: That unit is huge. It'll be a great victory if we can get rid of that many artillery in one fell swoop.

There are...people who are looking for God.
That said, this god is an alien one... More like a king or an emperor, really, and there are some who believe in him. They even say that this god rides upon an egg-shaped spacecraft.
I think they believe in him because they want to believe.
They want to believe that humanity can win if we can just destroy the egg-shaped ship.
Believe it hard enough, and he'll give you hope to keep on living.
It doesn't matter if there's no evidence. They believe anyway...

A Mothership has arrived from an unexpected direction. It's not like the Motherships we've seen so far. This must be...the eleventh one.
It's now dropping combat robots into the city. They've taken us by surprise, so not many soldiers are in the area. It's a difficult situation, but we need you to hurry there at once. Destroy those combat robots.
Mission Start
Soldier: Enemy forces descending from the Mothership. Along with a huge number of combat robots.
Leader: We don't have any backup nearby. We've no choice but to do it ourselves.
(Join the Ranger team)
Leader: Let's chip away at them as much as we can!
(Battle begins)
Leader: Combat robots confirmed! Taking them out!
Soldier: Androids!
(The 2nd wave of enemies appears)
Soldier: There are drones coming out of the Mothership now!
Soldier: They're type 2 drones!
Soldier: The Mothership's on the move.
Major: That is Mothership No. 11.
Major: We had confirmed 10 motherships so far. With this, we now have 11.
Headquarters: No. 11... So it was really out there.
Major: Seeing as it had remained in hiding all this time, there's a good chance that this one's special.
Headquarters: The Primers' flagship, perhaps? The tide of battle could change dramatically if we can bring it down.
