Profile and Career
Norasuke (のらすけ) is one of the strongest amateur players, with many top results in community tournaments, and is considered to be as good as top professional players.
He has a high-standard play style that uses left-turning GTR and Meri-chain, and utilizes high chain-linking skills and judgment to saturate the main chain and control the midfield. He is always able to fire the main chain of over 100,000 points, and he rarely shows any openings in the midfield even against opponents who are trying to deny their saturation battle. He is also known for his ability to utilize his abundant resources to create responses that exceed the expectations of his opponents. Also, depending on the opponent's situation, he may sometimes use a fast attack early on.
He has been active in tournaments since around 2022 and has become well known.
In June 2022, he participated in the double-elimination ``9th Wairu Cup'' (64 participants) and advanced to the winners' final, where he defeated Tomokun(ともくん), a top professional player. Furthermore, in the grand final against Shiyota, who won the losers' final, he won 5-4, 5-3, achieving his first championship on the winner's side.
