Mackey( マッキー, born 2001) is a professional player who is considered one of the strongest due to his numerous wins in official tournaments and his outstanding plays in community rating leagues.
His playing style is almost left-turning GTR, and he always has a good orthodox style with no gaps in both the main chain’s power and the flexibility of midfield. He has top-level skills in nearly every aspect of Puyo Puyo battle, and because he plays as if he can see into the future, people call him "The Understander(理解者,Rikai-sha)." What is noteworthy is that the technique of handling Puyo and fighting around at the top area of the field, the so-called "end game", is outstanding. As a result, he is very good at tactics such as moving his opponent with small chains at the top of the field and quickly firing the main chain to gain a time advantage. Also, his ability to create a second chain is outstanding. Furthermore, he is very good at responding to the opponent's single chain actions called Ibara, which shows that he is constantly staring at the opponent's field.
