Mainstream history has hung onto the idea that civilization began only 6,000 years ago with the Sumerians, but the deeper we dig, the more cracks appear in that timeline. What if there was a highly advanced civilization that thrived before the last Ice Age, one that was wiped out in the catastrophic events that ended the Pleistocene? The Aryan homeland of Airyanem Vaejah, described in ancient Iranian texts, hints at a lost northern civilization that flourished before the world was chucked into chaos.
