ゲーム自体の難度は前作から劇的に低下し、ミニゲームの類も実績には関わらない。また、収集物も激減している上におおよその位置をマップで確認できる。
難易度Hardは最初から選択できるが、一周するだけではEPが足りずフルアップグレードができない。クリア後の町で暴れても獲得できるEPは微々たるものなので、コンプするには引き継ぎありのニューゲームをもう半周はプレイする必要がある。

今作は「NEW GAME +」が上位難易度に対してでも可能になったので、アクションゲーに自信がないならEASYで開始、NEW GAME+で能力引継ぎでHARDをするといい。
自信があるなら、いきなりHARDで開始してからEASYに引継ぎで時間短縮はできる（経験値を稼ぐためにストーリーを途中までやればいいだけになるため）。
任意難易度クリア後HARDより上の難易度が解禁されるが実績には関係がない。
Radnet Edition コンテンツ（初回版の説明書裏についてるDLコード）は（おそらく）実績とは無関係。
コンプは15～20時間で可能。

移動系アビリティMAX推奨。
高い建物から溜めジャンプ→グライド→エアダッシュ→グライド→エアダッシュ→グライドで海に向かえば簡単。

OPTIONAL UPGRADE(黄色い筋肉)マークのついた敵を10体、30体、46体食べる。

-Icarus
RED ZONEに一番高いビルがあるのでそれに登る。

マップに表示されるのは既に達成済みのもので、未達成のものは大まかな位置に波紋が表示される。
