セダクティは、ゴラリオンの海に潜む水陸両棲の魚に似た人型生物で、動物の従者を陸に連れて行き、空気呼吸することで知られる。漁村全体が一夜にして消えてしまうと、セダクティが最初に疑われる。セダクティは生まれながらの指導者として誇りを持ち、階層構造への厳格な遵守のために野心は制限を受ける。セダクティの地位は奉仕させる動物の従者の力と、狩猟や部外者との戦いで彼らが証明する気概によって決定される。
